Microsoft Security Essentials is a new antivirus,antispyware,anti torjan etc etc
this software has all features and its very light..
after installing i dint even notice any change in performance..
its around 4 Mb but will grow after update.. installs under 25 Seconds..
its currently under beta ,will be releasing soon...
AND BEST OF ALL ITS FREE!!!!

i just installed it, like yesterday after my previous anti virus (microsoft onecare)license expired. since it's coming from Microsoft so, i might have give it a try for a month or two and i'll give a verdict then. hopefully they will constantly update the software protection.

It works great for me, and I've been using it for a long time now. I also use MalwareBytes and SpyBot Search & Destroy too.

I tried too using this anti virus being provided by Microsoft. It is really light and does not eat too much of my pc resources but it fails to detect some virus, trojans and threats that other anti virus like Norton, AVG, etc. Somehow it helps and better than none at all.
