Can anyone here tell me, what is WI-FI?

First of all what is wifi? How can we connect two computers with it and what is needed to connect it? Do I need to purchase any softwares for it? How much can it cost me?

WI-FI is just a trademark for a 2.4 Ghz frequency/wavelength used for wireless LAN connection.

Hey, Well I think that Wi-Fi stands for Wireless LAN or something like that. It is basically wireless so you can play wireless games together or surf the Internet totally wireless, it is quite cool I must admit. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Two or more computers can be connected using WiFi if there is a wireless router. To do so you need to access the network and Internet connection interface. For example if you are using Windows XP then go to Control Panel Network and Internet Connection Wireless Network Setup Wizard. A memory stick is required. Follow the instructions given.
