What will you choose between EGO and SOPHISTICATED?

I am not sure what is meant by the question in an interview but if an interviewer were to ask me I would respond, "That is exactly what I would choose, I would choose 'between' the two." What I would mean is that I wouldn't say sophisticated because that would perhaps imply egotistic, yet if I chose ego, that might imply over confidence and maybe sophisticated individuals shouldn't come across as egotistical (I could be wrong about that) but if I say inbetween then I think I am sophisticated enough to know not to be egotistical and yet still say I am confident of who I am which is a balance of knowing my strengths without over-embellishing ego-wise. I hope that helped (and I hope even more that it made sense!LOL)
