Hard one for me, but I'm going to have to say Dreyers Rocky Road and Blue Bunny Banana Split. I know there are some fancy ice cream parlors out there, but I don't have access to them. While on tour in the Mediterranean sea, and porting in Europe, I was pleased to see that the ice cream is handmade over there, and gooooood! That was the first place I had rum raisin ice cream, which was tons better than Haagen Dazs' version. I also tried jalepeno ice cream, which was actually not too bad.

Purple yam(ube) ice cream, it's a staple here in the Philippines. I guess it would be odd to eat yam-flavored ice cream. But believe me, it does taste pretty good. :) And yeah, "dirty ice cream" really doesn't taste like ice cream at all. Even I don't buy it much. But it does taste yummy when your walking out in the sun and it gets too hot. Hmm, come to think of it even a small block of ice would taste good after walking for hours under the sweltering heat. lol

Hi akiadranem ^_^I love ube ice cream. It does sound odd when used the english translation yam ice cream. I wonder why dirty ice cream is dirty. My friend's dad sells them on the street and told me the ice cream are home-made with ingredients bought from a wholeseller of dirty ice cream. The ice cream remains cold when the ice is covered with salt. Yeah, it's so hot that I really wish an ice cream vendor passes by. lol

Hi ChaoticBeauty :D I had a Sampaguita ice cream when I was fifteen where my aunt brought me to an old provincial restaurant that serves exotic Filipino cuisine. The distinct scent of sampaguita made this ice cream unique. When I had a bite, the scent of the flower came through my nose. It has almost a similar taste to vanilla but it is a bit mild and more fragrant than vanilla. I don't remember that restaurant but I can definitely never forget that sweet smelling experience ^^ The sampaguita is a white flower which is also the Philippine national flower or Philippine jasmine. It has a sweet scent that is extracted for fragrant oils. It is also used in divinations and offerings.

My favorite is got to be the chocolate gelato that i one had in a restaurant here in the Philippines. The oddest ice cream i've had is the one they sell here in the streets of manila, which we called "dirty ice cream". It is not acually dirty it is just a name cause they sell it on streets. It is bad because it doesnt taste like ice cream. I heard that there is a nicotine ice cream, that one i wanna try.

I would say, avocado ice cream. I didn't like the taste of it. But let me share with you something. Once in an Indian restaurant, I tried this "rose yogurt" and I would have to say that's the oddest yogurt I've ever had.
