I went to the dentist to have some teeth pulled a few days ago. I was given nitrous oxide during the procedure. Ever since the extractions, I have been kinda foggy, like a brain fog, and have been unusually tired. My question is, can the nitrous oxide leave you feeling this way for a few days after this procedure? Please help and let me know.

ya generally it does..!!
because nitrous oxide dialates your blood vessels in the brain which will slow perfusion of the blood to brain and thats why u feel headache.
so its normal ..don't worry about that.
happy lotting.

Wow, I have not had such a reaction to Nitrous Oxide. But for an itchng sensation on my cheek for a couple hours... one that could not be scrached... But it eventually went away. If you are having continuous headaches and fogginess, maybe you should get checked out by your doctor? Two days seems kind of much. But don't be alarmed if others are sensitive to it for two days, I am just saying, if it lasts longer than that. Good luck to you. Hope you feel better soon.
