A tsunami is due to hit!

I live in new zealand currently and over night there has been an 8.3 earthquake nearby and a tsunami is due to hit new zealand. I just woke up so I don't know how big it will be but lets just hope it's no too big aye.

I just heard on the news that the Tsunami warning was lifted for Hawaii, but that an area of New Zealand was completely wiped out, and Poga Poga had severe damage too. Reports are early so it is hard to say how bad it really is. I hope everyone got to higher ground, there were warnings up.

o wow thats more than I've heard. hmmm maybe I should get on my roof or something. I'm in auckland so I don't think it will be very bad down here.

umbrella lol, I don't think so... Hope you are on high ground and everybody who's potentially in danger gets to high ground too!

Thinking of you. I hope that the tsunami doesn't come anywhere near where you are and that you remain safe. 8.3 is an incredibly intense earthquake. I'm watching the news right now and they're going to be talking about it within the hour.
