Hi freezeover,
Well, let's see, I could name a whole bunch but I guess you'd have to be into collectibles in order to appreciate it. Here's a few I thought were great prices.
One was a 1939 "Miracle On 34th Street, First Edition, for $10.00.
An late 1800's fortune telling game, with all the pieces for $30.00, it's awesome and dated.
A Childlife Christmas Magazine, 1926, with a wonderful huge old looking Santa Claus with tons of toys in his bag, great graffics, for $12.00.
Quite a few Halloween Postcards from the early 1900's (great re-sale values) for $5 or $6 dollars and these were resold for either double or triple or more. One I bought for $10.00 and sold for $32.00.....I like that, lol! Vintage Halloween is always a hot item on Ebay, anytime of the year, but if you look right now, the prices are really skyrocketing because Halloween is coming up. Love it! But, alot of vintage postcards will sell upwards to $500 or more....amazing to me.
Those are just a few I can think of offhand....I've bought many items from Ebay and quite a few were gifts for my kids, other stuff I've bought and resold. It's a great hobby if you know what you're doing.

Are you new to selling?
I've been doing Ebay for about 6/7 years or so and have learned quite alot.
There are tricks I've learned on my own and I'm STILL learning. The economy is rather slow right now but it still depends on what you're selling. What kind of sport items are you selling out of curiosity?
I might be able to give you a few pointers if you'd like, unless you've been doing it for years like me, then of course, you certainly don't need any help. Sometimes things are just in the wrong category.

I've gotten video games on ebay that otherwise would cost me a pretty penny for less than $20. I also decided to start searching on ebay for pet supplies and I just ordered some pet food at a very cheap price as in food that I couldn't get in stores for the same price and it's a better quality too as it's a homemade food. I think Ebay has wonderful options for everyone.
