Activity control software

Recently I realized the internet has pretty much eaten the last 5 years Of my life, And I want it to stop. I'm having a bit of difficulty locating an activity control software (sometimes known as a parental control software?) I feel it would help me greatly in limiting my time on the computer :) if you can help me find a free decent non virus contaminated one, I would like it :D Please and thank you :D
