create sinmple video or animation / myLot

Hello people, I am trying to create a simple short video or animation, however I do not have the budget, so I have to DIY. I would like to ask the kind people here if the know of any simple and free programs out there where I would be able to quickly do up a simple animation or video. Thanks in advance.

If you know how you can create an animation using GIMP which is free. Simply create an animated gif with all the frames of the animation then import the animated gif into windows movie maker. In windows movie maker you can then add music and sound effects. It is relatively simple but a little time comsuming if you do not know what you are doing.

Hi. I highly recommend Ulead VideoStudio. It's very user-friendly . The interface is similar to Windows movie maker but it has more effects and features so your video will seem 'professionally made'.

If you are looking for VERY simple, sort-of animation, there is Animoto. It is sort of a cross between a slide show and video with music. Have fun.
