Getting Kids to Sing Praises to Obama is bad enough, but PRAYING TO HIM?

I heard about this on the radio on the way into work today, just got off and was going to look it up. This is frightening! People blindly following this MAN. Even if I liked him, even if I agreed with everything he stood for, this would scare me, and I would be yelling at the top of my lungs for people to stop worshipping him. But there is something even more frightening than people praying to him. Its the fact that he is NOT putting a stop to it. He is not telling people to quit worshipping him because he is just a man. He is loving the adoration that people are giving him. In the bible people saw Paul work miracles and started to woship him. Paul immediately stopped them. In Revelation, John saw an angel and started to worship him, the angle stopped John from doing so. Does Obama think that he is more than Paul or an angel? Apparently so. Obviously his supporters think he is. Why dosent Obama tell the people doing this to stop? His ego wont let him. You see, nobody has ever said no to this man before. In his mind, he deserves the praise and adulation heaped upon his head by the dumb masses. In his mind he is not him, but Him.

I wouldn't call it unAmerican, I'd call it creepy. Politician worship is without a doubt the dumbest possible kind of worship anyone could partake in. It was dumb when the extreme right-wingers did it with Bush (see Jesus Camp), and it's dumb when people do it with Obama.

So, yet AGAIN I am going to toot my own horn and say, yep, I warned about this a long time ago. Though I think nearly anyone saw this type of thing comming. I am going to draw from a discussion i posted 9 months ago because I think it is still very relevent.... PLEASE understand I do not compair the two men, I am not compairing Obama, the man, to Hitler. I am only drawing compairisons to the culture of worship that seems to be developing in this country that is frighteningly like the one that developed in Germany under Hitler. THis is a bit scary. Obama is a man. Just a man. Not GOD. Yet some poeple (like the ones in the video) worship him like a God. I would say things are getting out of control but to be honest it has been out of control for a while. Those people are in for a big let down.

Oh My GOD! (Yes, GOD, not Obama!) Are you phucking kidding me? Is anyone bothering to talk about THIS one at all, or is the incompetent press either burying it (as usual) or perhaps PROMOTING IT since that seems to be their own mantra?

I had watched those videos today the one where people were praying to obama and then the children praising to obama. I believe in God and just watching that makes me sick and I know God isn't smiling on that. I mean seriously, come on people, obama is not god. He is not such a great man yet, or I don't even know if he will be. I seriously doubt it and that's just my opinion, but this. Is just too much for a man who is just our president who promised to make some changes in america. Things I have not yet seen.

This is going to sound very extreme, so take it with a grain of salt. Christianity predicts that a false prophet will enter that everyone will worship, thus leading to the end of the world. Um, 12/21/12 anyone? It's very out there, but my boyfriend swears it's true.

I heard about this and wondered when someone here would jump on it. They're saying, "Oh, God" NOT "Obama"! I understand that idiotic Glenn Beck started it and then Michelle Malkin and Lou Dobbs picked up on it. Apparently they're all deaf or just hear what they want to hear. Annie
