I am so hungry after sitting for quite some time in front of the laptop. My husband and his eldest sister had attended the grand opening ceremony of his friends’ new vegetarian restaurant this morning. He had promised to buy me a box lunch before I left for my part time work. It’s only 30 minutes or so left, but they hadn’t turn up yet. I just crave for salty food. It’s impossible for me to prepare rice or other dishes in such a short time. I really don’t have any appetite to take any sweeties like chocolate, cakes and biscuits for the moment
Oh, it’s great! To see a pack of instant noodle lying on the corner of the cupboard! It’s what I’m looking for right now! Without any hesitation, I pour some hot water from the thermos into a small pot. I dump the pack of noodle into the hot water and let it to boil for a couple of minutes. After stirring it with the appropriate amount of flavoring, a bowl of hot and delicious noodle comes into sight.
Wow, it’s heavenly yummy! I feel so satisfied after finishing the whole bowl of delicious noodle in such a short while
I have to get some instant noodles from the hypermarket after my work this evening. There are various types of flavors available in the market. I love those with vegetarian flavor.
Do you like eating instant noodle? What flavor you prefer? Do you keep some in your kitchen, like what I usually do? It’s easy to prepare and delicious to eat as well, do you agree?
Feel free to share with and thanks a lot!

Instant noodles are one of the greatest inventions in the world. So easy to make, so easy to eat, packed full of goodness and MSG. It's so great how something so cheap can be filling and tasty at the same time, the only downside I can see to instant noodles is that they are packed full of salt and MSG so you get really thirsty, other than that instant noodles are good to go.

Yeah Tbman, it’s the greatest food which is invented by a Japanese. He has become a wealthy man after having quantity production. I learned this from a local article some time ago. Yeah, as long as we take a mouthful of this instant noodle, we could hardly refrain ourselves from taking it again
It’s nice that the MSG is packed separately in another inner small packing. We can add the required amount to suit our taste. It’s tasty enough for me by just adding a bit to it. I enjoy eating it together with both the soup and noodle We will feel thirsty for sure if dumping the whole pack of flavoring into it. Take more water if feeling thirsty to get rid of the extra salt through urination.
Take care and happy posting

The instant is yummy! Besides, it's very convenient because it could be ready within minutes, by just boiling in the hot water. But unfortunately it's not a healthy food. Besides, long term consuming can even lead to serious disease.
I seldom eat instant noodles. Usually I eat it when there is no other options. Although it's not nutritious, but I still like its taste.
Happy posting and have nice day!

Actually recently I have found out that instant noodles is not the only food that could be prepared in minutes. In a local vegetarian retail shop, I discovered some dried rice and vegetables packets. They could be consumed after immersed in boiling water for 3 minutes. It's as easily prepared as the instant noodles. And it's totally free from preservatives because it's produced from organic ingredients. However, it's not available in other stores. Instant noodles are much more common, and that's why it's still popular among the consumers.

Hi cheongyc, what a great discovery! It’s really cool to have other instant food which is nutritious. Wow, it takes 3 minutes only. The instant noodle takes us a couple of minutes to get readied. The dried rice is still considered to be fast to get prepared as well. If you could get such instant food with healthy nutrition, it’s worthy to pay a bit more to get it.
I like organic foods as well. Yeah, food with preservatives will cause great harm to our body if taking frequently. So it’s nice for us to take such nutritious instant dried rice with vegetables packets if we are really lack of time to prepare our homemade meals. Just take the instant noodle when we crave for it once in a while. I think I have to brows the local vegetarian retail outlets to see whether such wonderful instant food is available here. I should get some of such beneficial dried rice plus vegetables packets
Thanks for the valuable info and happy posting

Hi cheongyc, I love the yummy instant noodle very much regardless of whether it’s a junk food or not It’s the only salty plus delicious food that we could get it readied instantly and easily. How convenient to get such delicious fresh hot food to fill our hunger contentedly when we run short of time. We even have to spend much longer time if eating out or to prepare other simple cooked food
Due to it’s not a healthy and nutritious food, we try not to it too often. The packet I took days before was the last stock in the cabinet. I had purchased a couple of vegetarian flavor package last night. Each package contains 5 packets. We usually could get certain items with favorable price on Sundays or any other public holidays I believe this is the way to promote the products and attract customers as well.

Oh yes, I really do like eating instant noodles. When I still had a job, I stocked up on instant noodles and almost never ran out of supply. Really good for emergency situations like when you're out of food in the fridge, when you can't go to town because you're too lazy or you don't have enough money, or maybe when you're just hungry waking up in the middle of the night. Really tasty and convenient indeed. A good tummy filler for the hungry.

Hey, great analysis. I overlooked that one. Heh heh. Yes, yes, those instant noodles are sooooo tasty and soooo easy to cook, (with some of them not even needing any cooking at all!) that you just couldn't help eating up more than you should. Me too, whenever I do stock up on those cheap but very delicious instant noodles, I don't even notice that my supply gets slowly decimated! Like you just prepare around one or two at a time each day or even every two days but it seems like you just ate it for less than a week!
Now that's great that you share it with your hubby whenever you eat some. At least you get some control over your appetite. Me? I eat it all. Sometimes I even add in eggs, onion, seasoning...and even rice! Then after that, I could go to sleep already. Heh heh. I really love instant noodles. And oh, the manufacturers are even coming up with more and better flavors every time, which makes the temptation to buy them a lot harder to resist. =D

Hi butterscotsh, really happy to have you dropping in here
Lol... seafood flavor is the favorite of one of my nephews too. We have the prawn or shrimp flavor only. We could hardly find fish or other seafood flavors here so far. Most of the seafood flavor noodles are hot and spicy as well as having the sweet and yummy sour savor, which is really irritative and fans of this savor would start to drool when inhaling the heavenly smell for sure Such flavor is popular of its name, Tomyam.
Oh I see! Seems that you love vegetarian flavor as well, just because it's not available in your place. Lucky that we can still get here, but they are not as many as other flavors on the hypermarket shelve. I can find them among others for they usually in packets in green color.

Well now a days they are coming out with so many different kinds depending where you go. There are the ones that are like the Ramen ones in various flavors or the Ramen cup a noodles. Then there is the Thai flavors, and the Pho flavors etc. I actually have had a lot of these from time to time. The ones I like the best are Creamy Chicken or Chicken Pho.

Nowadays seems, that everyone has his personal schedule to busy with, until sometimes doesn't have any extra time to prepare his own homemade food or even no time to eat out. In such situation the in need of dry provision that can be prepared instantly is of capital important to entertain one's hungry stomach at that very moment.
Other than instant noodle I do keep at least a pack of instant oatmeal at my kitchen. It's really easy and simple to prepare and it's healthy and nutritive as well. I just have to pour one and a half rice bowl of hot boiled water into five tablespoons full of this dry instant stuff into a mug and let it aside for five minute. I then can enjoy eating it with either honey or yogurt added to it to fill my hunger

I was making noodles quite often in my house. It is not only tasty and liked by my children but also easy to make and can make in varieties as well. You can do only plain noodles. If you have time, cook small pieces of potatoes and then add this noodles. This is a different taste. Or cook tomato, peas, capsicum, green chillies and then add noodles, this is another taste. Or cook beans, carrot and add noodles, this is a different taste altogether.
But a few days back I read an article and also my sister told me that they add wax for a particular type of noodles that are sold in India, and the wax will affect the stomach. Then I got scared and reduced making noodles.

Hi Buchi, you are not only good in writing posts. Wow, you are good in preparing food as well Your kids as well as people around you are fortunate, for they always have the opportunity to taste your delicious food. I wonder there is still any vacant house next to yours! I can visit you whenever I get the smell from your kitchen. It’s so nice to have savory foods when feeling hungry.
Yeah, I did read many articles before about the disadvantage of taking too much instant noodle. Consumers are advised not to add the MSG attached while the water is boiling. The appropriate time is after the stove is turned off. It’s just before pouring the whole thing into the bowl. No matter how it’s always safe to take it once in a while with less amount as well.

You are most welcome Buchi. I just say what I feel, really! Women usually would have great change in their daily life after married. The first thing is to learn how to prepare the 3 daily meals for the whole family. Yeah, the tastes have to suit them all. I heard that every married Indian woman should know how to cook pumpkin curry well. I wonder whether what I heard is correct.
Wow, how great to have two talented chefs in one house. I hope I were to have the chance to be your neighbor in time to come. Oh gosh! It seems that all of you prefer to take digestion tablets many times until finishing all the delicious dishes served. Is anyone put on weight? Yeah, it’s a great pleasure and contented as well when seeing all the dishes we made are mopped up totally. From how quickly they have disposed of all the dishes, show that the foods on the dinner are really good taste.
Thank you very much my dear friend. Besides the beautiful saree, now come the delicious homemade Indian foods. How lucky I'm. I feel really happy to have such a hospitable and caring friend

Thanks for the nice things told. With in-laws at home in the beginning of my married life, with three kids and tongue long husband and me (means very particular about taste), I have to learn cooking well and varieties. Why next house, my second floor is vacant. Please come here. Everyday I and my husband, who is also an expert cook, will make all varieties of Indian cooking and spread on lunch and dinner table along with digestion tablets Eat and eat and finally take one digestion tablet. Cooking gets meaning when somebody eats it with good taste and say lovely and tasty. My daughter says 'Mum you are the best cook in the world'. I do not know how far it is true as all children say that to their mum. But I can assure you, your hunger will be taken care of. Happy noodle eating.

My husband and my children like the instant noodles, but I do not. I have never been a fan of them, but I know many people who eat them. I would rather have something else for lunch most times. I prefer sandwiches over soup. I think that it is important to have a balanced meal and noodles just do not seem to cover any food group.

Hi carolscash, for people who love instant noodles they can't help to have their own bowl as well if they have inhaled the yummy heaven smell of it. To be frank instant noodle is still my solely desired salty food if I don't have enough time to prepare homemade dishes from vegetables and other ingredients It's not only could bear full it's delicious as well. Yeah, it's rather deficient it's not healthy and nutritive to us. Anyway it's no harm to take it once in a while to entertain our appetite with this yummy unique stuffs so that to have diversified eating style
I love sandwiches too, especially cheese and egg sandwiches. I like to take these together with a cup hot milo stirred with a teaspoon of coffee powder. It's tasty heavenly when having them in cold weather.

Hi sweety_81, realize that eating instant noodles often is not good for health. I don't eat instant noodles as frequently as before. Anyway we still keep some for reservation stock to serve our stomach in case we don't have time to prepare meal. Yeah, have some easy prepared vegetables and nutritious ingredients added to it would make the noodles more delicious and nutritious I suppose.
It's nice to have other favorite stuffs we like too to be storing up, so that we at least have something to fill our hunger when we are busy. Seems that you have lots of delicious food to entertain your stomach. I believe you won't suffer from hunger even you don't have time to prepare meal or eat out

Hi daliaj, it’s nice to know that you just take instant noodle when you are hungry once in a while only. Really, it couldn’t bring any benefit to our body if to take this junk food all the time. I think it’s no harm to take it occasionally to entertain our appetite, right?! Yeah, just to fulfill our taste for the moment we crave for it. just try to escape of being a lazy person, your husband rarely likes to cook such noodle! From your words, seems that he still would cook instant noodle between times.
You are right daliaj, when feeling hungry, whatever simple food would be the most delicious for sure. If having a full stomach, we don’t have any appetite to taste any food as well, even if all kinds of delicacies are served conversely. Hi lkbooi,
I always keep stocks some Maggi Instant noodle in my kitchen cabinet. It can served as my breakfast or my lunch.
Of course, I did not eat Instant Noodle every day.It is not good for my health.I will have it 3-4 times/month.So it means once a week.Is it too often? I guess it should be fine, not over consumption.
I prefer to go for Chicken soup base or curry soup for Instant Noodle. I did other flavour like Assam laksa,Soto and Tomyam before.Their taste is not really that good.
Sometimes, I will add some vegetables, egg, sausages, fishball, crabstick to my instant noodle. It looks super delicious.
I do stir fried Instant Noodle and it taste great too.
I never tried those instant noodle with vegetarian flavour. What is that brand of instant noodle with vegetarian flavour??
There are so many brands of instant noodle in the market and the most I like is Maggi,Indomee and Myojo.

Yeah shia, if having some instant noodle in our kitchen we don’t have to bear the hunger that would occur at anytime I do take it once in a while only. The rest of the time I usually take rice together with other delicious dishes. The homemade dishes are mostly vegetables. We take fish twice a week. Besides vegetarian flavor, I love chicken flavor as well. The taste of the spicy Tomyam flavor imported from Thailand is yummy too. We would purchase some when visiting my relatives in Kedah.
I’m not choosy I can take whatever brand of instant noodle. But my hubby is very picky. He prefers the Mamee brand instant noodle only. Before this, he loved Cintan instant noodle. He had been eating Cintan instant noodle since his childhood. But nowadays he loves only the softer texture of Mamee noodle as well as its vegetarian flavor.
We can see the words “Perisa Vegetarian” in green color conspicuously on the right of the packing. Beneath it are the small English words Vegetarian Flavor. Feel free to have a look at the above attached image in the discussion.
My son is a huge fan of instant noodle. When visiting the Indian restaurant, he orders the stir fried instant noodle for sure. With extra vegetables, egg and other nutritious ingredients added would make the noodle more delicious

Hi,
I never tried Cintan Instant noodle before and just
wondering does it taste nice?
Maybe I should grab a pack and try it out myself since
my instant noodle stock is getting low.
All the while I buying Maggi Instant Noodle, The main reason
why I choose this brand is because every year during the
Gawai festival, there will be a contest going on.
I have been joining this Gawai contest for 3 years now and for the past
2 years contest, I always won the consolation prize.
Not a big prize, but its not bad...at least, I have the good luck.
For this year Gawai contest, I am yet to received any notification
from Maggi, not sure I will have the luck for this year or not.
ACtually my son also love to eat instant noodle, but I don't allow him to eat.
only once a while, when he saw me or my husband is eating, then I will
give him some.

Just like you. I like to have everything get readied in simple and easy way. I feel reluctant to take longer time to prepare those complicated dishes. For the sake of my loved ones I try to prepare healthy and nutritious food for them sometimes. of course also those which are easy and simple to get prepared. Yeah, they are mostly steamed foods.
I would like to have a taste on those Japan instant noodles if there is any available in the hypermarket. Thanks for the info.
My husband is good in preparing instant noodle. We all like the fried type with some bean sprouts and tomato slices added to it. It looks good with some black soy sauce stirred with evenly. Yeah, the whole fried eggs topping make it looks more attractive and tastes much yummy as well

Hi Sree, it’s wise not to keep any instant noodle at home if having kids that could hardly refrain themselves from taking it too often. As far as we know, instant noodle is not nutritious and healthy food indeed. You are doing the right thing well and just to entertain them the delicious noodle once in a week So they don’t crave for it anymore.
How convenient it is to have a grocery next to your house. Seems that you have a free and spacious cabinet! What’s more you don’t have to spend time and trouble to take care of it as well. you could get any item you wish once you need it from the shop handily. Moreover they are always fresh and won’t expire for sure

Well, I always have a stock of instant noodle at home. I consider them as a quick solution when there is hunger. They are very easy indeed to prepare and the time it takes to prepare them is very short. Just perfect when you do not have much time to make a good food. We have instant noodles here called Ramon noodles, they take about 3 minutes to make after the water boils. It is really delicious and the noodles are fun to eat, but the seasoning packet that you use makes them really high in sodium. So I don't eat it that much even though I love how it tastes. My kids love it though and sometimes they will eat that and I will eat something else, they are young so it will not hurt their health like it does mine if they eat it occasionally.

Yeah, after the well boiled noodle with the seasoning in the attached small packet added to it, the noodle tastes yummy heavenly I bet most of us couldn't refuse to have a taste of it when it's served for sure.
