NY Nurses To Be Forced To Take H1N1 Vaccine

This is a touchy subject for me. I would completely understand how these nurses feel, being told by the NY government that they have to take the vaccine, or lose their jobs. However, I do have a big problem with health care workers getting on national TV, and saying such things as they don't want to be guinea pigs, or the vaccines are not safe. They have absolutely no right to be saying such things, when this strain of flu is probably going to get out of control, and possibly be very deadly. If they want to protest being forced to take something into their bodies, because it violates their rights fine, but don't say such dangerous, and unprofessional things. I personally do not want the vaccine. It has nothing to do with the safety of it though, I just think the body should be able to build natural immunity. However, I am considering getting it, depending on how the virus continues to spread, and mutate. What do you think about health care workers, saying such dangerous things, publicly?

There have been several rumors about the shot. I say rumors because i am unaware of the validity of the statements. However the things that i have heard is that the shot can cause kidney failure and reak havoc on the liver as well. I personally will not have the shot. I do not give my children any vaccinations since my first son developed autistic behaviors after having the vaccines so young. I know one thing for sure. I would personally lose my job b4 being forced into anything that goes against my beliefs.

I missliss thank you for your response. There is no pride in not giving my children vaccinations. It is simply for their own wellfare. It is an infamous at and no pride to be gained from it. I just dont believe that big pharma has my child's interest at heart. ANd the news isnt always the best source of imformation either. But I dont judge anyone who gets the vaccinations. I just choose to protect my children naturally at least at this point.

I understand your perspective, and I respect it. Working in the health care industry has forced me to see the good, and not so good. However, I still think the majority of vaccines are safe, and have no ill effect on children.

I am not at all surprised, and unless you eat only whole, and organic foods we are all exposed every day to preservatives, chemicals, and even radiation. I still think most vaccines are safe, and for the most part should be encouraged. Except for the ones I mentioned.
