Panathinaikos landed in Bucharest this week. They brought their own food... As if they are coming to Mordor, where the very air you breathe is poisonous fume...
More than that, the coach Henk ten Kate shoved a cameraman at the airport, like he is some kind of a football legend...
Man I hope they lose!
I'm no Dinamo fan either, but I hope they win so that they shut the Dutch's mouth. Too bad Panathinaikos is much better... But who knows... maybe a draw?
Any opinions on the match?

Well obviously Panathinaikos will win which is why they brought their own food. They would have been weak and feeble if force fed foreign herbs, I expect they brought some nice Greek salads and oregano with them. The coach doesn't Anyway Stvasile, please try to remember some of these young boys may be away from their Mamas for the first time so remind your countrymen to make them feel at home.

Panathinaikos will feel much at home, since there won't be any Dinamo fans on the stadium, just the Green fans coming from Greece to support their team (see the discussion below for more info on that situation).
Also, there are quite a few Greek with business in Bucharest that would most certainly gather around to watch the game together (in front of some uzo maybe?).

Hi stvasile,
I don't know all that new but it seem to me they are try to prevent themselves from any shortcoming. I read about own food for the other sport event like Olympics but never heard it for a football match.
Panathiacos and Dinomo Bucharest has a lot of experience in a highest level of European competition. That mean they know all kind of expectation. Dinamo Bucharest won their first group match and Panathiakos lost at home to Galatasary. While Dinamo Bucharest want to keep their momentum, Panathiakos also want to win this game so they would not left to far behind in this group. It would be an interesting match to watch. I predict it would be a draw. And I hope it would be a high score match. 0-0 would be too boring.

There are some other aspects you probably don't know about this match.
For example, there will be no Dinamo fans allowed on the stadium. That's because in the Europa League play-off against Slovan Liberec, some Dinamo fans entered the field, which led to the premature end of the first leg, Dinamo loss 3-0 and their home field is now closed to the fans. However, UEFA allows access for the fans of the visiting teams, so 200-300 Greek fans are expected.
Another thing happening at Dinamo is that the Italian coach, Dario Bonetti, is using a players rotation system which produced some very strange results - Dinamo keeps on winning in the away matches against some fairly good teams, but keeps on losing at home, sometimes against very weak opponents.

It is sad because a football match is for fan to watch and enjoy it. But because of some stupid fans, the whole fans can't enjoy it too. That is a bad for Dinamo morally and monetarily. They should tighten the security level there.
It is very interesting methods use by Dinamo coach but the result is not very good for a team and fans. Liverpool coach done that before and he got all kind of attack from the fan and the hater before.

There is 2 good news for Panathiakos fan today. The first one is the Green finally won their first game at Europa league by beating Dinamo Bucharest by 1-0. The second is Galatasary only manage to draw 1-1 with Sturm Graz at home. Currently the Turkey team still at the top wit 4 points follow by Dinamo Bucharest and Panathiakos with 3 points and the last is Sturm Graz with one point.
