Do you let your cats sleep anywhere

At the right place at the right time this discussion is. Why? Well I just got bitten by our cat. She was lying in our rag and I accidentally step into her. Then what's next? She bit me!!! ouch! Cats should not be let sleep anywhere cause it will cause us harm. There should be a right place for our cats or all our pets. :)

My cats sleep wherever they want to sleep. I love it when my Josie purrs me to sleep. If any cat walks on a table or counter, I just wash it off. My cats like to help me while I cook. They are allowed to.

my cats are the queen and kings of my household. my parents dote on them more than they dote on me. they are basically the heads of my household. there is no such thing as 'not allowed' because they get to do whatever they want. even if they break something, it'll be my fault because i didn't place it properly. my cats are very clean because they are not allowed outside my home. i bathe them regularly and apply revolution so i'm not worried about their cleanliness. this is why they are allowed to sleep anywhere and everywhere they fancy.

I love my cat, but I agree with you that there are some places that cats do not belong. I do not allow a cat on the table where we eat, the kitchen counter or stove. He is not welcome in or on the refrigerator, either. He's not allowed on the china cabinet for obvious reasons, but there are plenty of places in the house where he can lie. He even has one chair that is exclusively his. We do lock him out of our bedroom at night because he gets so affectionate (rubbing himself around my head) that I can't sleep.

I let my cats sleep where ever and when ever they want as long as they are not near my childrens faces.I have one cat that sleeps in the sink in the kitchen and she is not bothered about if the sink is wet or if there is anything in it.I find my cats will sleep anywhere.

My cats sleep on the couches, the floor, the cat cage, and the bed. I don't let them on the table but I let them sleep on the chairs. I have a wood pellet stove with a couch in front of it. One of my cats Always sleep on the couch in front of the stove becuz it gets really warm their.

My cats stay outside. I don't like for them to jump up on everything, so i make them stay outside all the time. I have the bobtails, and they can get pretty rough in playing, and would pull everything down, not to mention leaving cat hairs everywhere. Plus, i don't like cats on my kitchen table or cabinets, so we get along fine, as long as they are outside.

my cat sleeps all most everything. his favorite places are his cat tree, couch, my bed, floor, cat bed, coffee table, closets, bathrooms. i dont think the kitchen is a good place for a pet to sleep. most pets enjoy windows and looking out.

Ew, the kitchen is a definite no no, I agree with you. I'll let the cats sit on the bed, on the end, but sure as heck not on the pillow!!

This was one of the first thing I taught my cat to do. I taught it not to sleep on the bed, table or chair instead to sleep in a little basket where its more comfortable. I don't like it if it sleeps on the bed or a table. I like when everything is disciplined.

I have 8 cats and 2 kittens. They come in the house from time to time. Especially when its cold outside. I let them sleep on the floor or on an old pillow I plan on never using again. I'm like you, I won't let them sleeop on my kitchen table or on my my bed when I lay my head. Cats are cute but lets face it, they don't like to take water baths.

Hello Swadey, Unfortuantely not, in my situation my mom has huge allergic to cats that she prefers me to have them outside of the house. but since it's rainy season and am so worried about her that i made a house for that kitty of mine. NO, she's not allowed inside the house, it's sad but true.

It depends how close you and your cat and how clean your cat is. If you keep the cats as your friends, I am sure you will not mind if your cat sleep on your pillows or kitchen table. Oppositely, if you consider the cat is dirty, surely you will disgust it. I don't let my cat be with me as I did not take the shower with him frequently. LOL. I will not let my cat sleep near the bedroom of mine. Happy Mylotting!

The same feeling like you, it is really discusting if you let the cat sleep on the kitchen table. yes, i understand if a guy keep a cat as a pet, and taking good care of the pets, You will see it like a close friend. So many people who keep pets have very close touch with their pets. Sometimes they forget some basic things about biological. however for the sake of both human beings health and the pets health, it really make sense to pay attention to some pet hygiene thing/

Fortunately I don't have a problem with my cat on the table or kitchen counter because my cat will not sleep anywhere higher than 2 feet from the ground. He doesn't like heights can you believe it? Yup he's a strange cat LOL!

Not really. I don't have a cat at home presntly. I am not supposed to keep pets according to the rule of my apartment. We have cats at my mom and dad's house. They don't let the cat sleep anywhere. I really don't know where that cat sleeps. I am sure that my mom won't allow the cat to sleep in their bed and not in their couch. I think the cat sleeps some where on the floor of stock room. They really dont' take care of the cat.

Yes, my cat is such a suck that now he sleeps in the bed next to my husband. We don't have the heat on and the house is a little bit on the cool side. For a while he'd sleep up by my head and wake me at 400am to get fed. I absolutely hated that.

first of all i want to say that i hate cats. i live in a pg where my landlord has a cat i cannot tolerate her. she is very bad as she always come across our food and bed. i am alergic to cat hairs and i always go far from them. happy mylotting.

the cats and the 3 new additional kittens sleep in the living room but not on the couch. the kittens stay together on the rug placed under the round table that we have. the older cats either sleep on the counters or they stay outside. sometimes, one cat goes inside our househelper's room where it sleeps with him together with one very favorite dog of his. we don't let them sit nor climb into the kitchen or dining table.

never, i won't let them to sleep in the kitchen or on my bed or on the dinning table. i let them sleep on their bed. thankyou swadey.
