How do you make a blogger?blogspot not look like a free blog?

hi mylotters
im fairly new to blogging but have recognised that the blogspot accounts are great but need a personalization to truly make them look good. Im looking to put a custom header and logo on my blog plus monetise it through adsense. Have a look at my blog and tell me what you think would look good plus comment follow etc. Also i would love to know the best ways to monetise and get traffic on my blog thanks , check it out at www.the-tech-stop.blogspot.com

Buying a professional template, there are some available for even $10 at http://themeforest.net . Or to find some professional look-a-like template that it's for free. Those wordpress converted to blogger seems very professional.
Also to buy a domain, doesn't need to have a hosting service, but definetly a domain.
One thing that also gives an impression of free blog is that Blogger favicon that many big blogs doesn't take away, so definetly to put another favicon that it's all yours, you know that simbol in the adress bar.

Your blog is very good, but it seems like abit move to the right. And it seems abit "empty" on your left site. Suggest to move abit the content to the center.
By the way, to monetize traffic, you might need to work on SEO.
