Most illness begins with stress, its the trigger point, the environmment also contribute in gaining stress, all of our doing in everyday life involved stress, some of us find thier meanshow would you manage it?

I do agree that most of our diseases begin with a Stressful environment. My stress relievers would be watching a good movie, having a cup of tea, listening to inspirational, instrumental music, soothing music, resting, and eating chocolate.

It's definitely true, stress triggers illnesses so we should take extra care of our health.
My stress relievers are healthy foods like carrots, fresh fruits, pineapple juice and hot green tea with honey. I exercise a lot and attended aerobics every sunday morning to recondition my tired muscles. I also drink a lot of water to eliminate deadly toxins that dominated my system. I read good books to relieve my mind from anxieties and tension.
But the most powerful stress reliever is always prayers. Yes, prayer is very effective in combating stress. Stress is not only emotional and physical, but it also involved mental and spiritual aspects that only prayers can heal.

That was great, you're a health concious person, we maintain our health by balancing the right diet and lifestyle, stress problem occurs when we are dealing with too much work and defficulties in our daily life, hoping that anxiety dont takes in because thats another problem, I like your lifestyle, I suggest to put prayer in your daily routine everyday because God is the source of our strength, have a healthy day, God bless you...

Its hard to manage stress as long as in stress period, thats nice, music and exercise does it all for you to relieved, in most saying "make your self busy" thats keep the stress away, all of us have deferent ideas regarding stress management, all we have to do is choose what suits for us, for me Ive look up in the sky, watching the stars, thats keep me calm and relax... thanks for you nice comments.. nice day to you.....

I get relief from stress by reading .I read material by spiritual leaders on how to handle stress.I read books on motivation they relieve stress.I like listening to old Hindi songs and songs of the seventies they are my stress busters. I watch movies which are hilarious.I watch sporting events they all help in reducing stress.

I love reading, specialy those that are informative, I dont read pocket books, newspapers and comics, thats full of baloney talks, also it can pollute our mind in doing so. The news papers are not stress reliever, its stress achiever, most of the time I used books and magazines to relax. Thanks for your calm comments, have a calm day..

i really feel good after a game or two of badminton. although i have stopped for almost 3 weeks now (been playing for almost a day previously), i am bent on going back to playing again. i really love the game, it is the activity that relieves me of tiredness and stress. i enjoy the game because i do not only exercise, i also get a lot of laughter and enjoyment during the games, especially that my playmates are high school students who naturally act their age. the child in me is really working.

So your'e in good shape, an sportsman, sometime if im not busy, i used to go on biking during weekends thats make me ease, for now ive junk my bike for repair but thats not for long i use my motor bike as replacement.

Yes, there are so many things each day causing a lot of stress. My favorite way of relieving the stresses each day is listening to my favorite classical music. I have a collection of CDs of classical music, Chopin, Beethoven, Johan Strauss, Mozart, and more. I listen to the CDs every evening after I get back home from my full time work.

Hi Shellback
I have several ways I like to relieve stress
One is to get into my Hot Tub turn on some smooth Jazz have a cup of Decaff Green Tea and just look at the sky at night with the stars and moon I did that last night in fact
I also exercise that really helps a lot because it releases endorphins throughout the body
I go for a walk or talk to someone about how I'm feeling a lot of times I talk to my husband its good to talk to someone who can help you feel better just by being there to listen
Sometimes believe it or not watching a program on cable that I like a lot helps because if your focused on the show and not the stress its can be a great distraction
I am sure there are many other ways people relieve stress but do whatever works for you as long as it gets the job done

I agree with that, watching tv programs makes you relieved, family also are source of happiness and it contribute a lot, we are same in finding relaxation, I look up the sky at night time and watching the stars above with cool mellow music, that keeps me relived, also I pray too for comfort. thanks, have a blessed day to you..

Sleeping. I also used to play the piano or sing when I am so stressed out. It cheers me up when I hear music.

Doing something interesting makes us relieved from stress, like what you have done, you're played piano, thats where you enjoy most and it was your stress reliever, but for me i have to find a way to relax first before i go to bed.. its easy to get sleept when youre relaxed.
