What do you do if you are always sleepy?

I am currently working at night and so I slept for 2 - 4 hours in the day after my shift or basically 6 hours before work since 3 years now but since the start of September specifically these past days, I had a hard time fighting sleepiness. Even when I drink energy drinks those that contain taurine, caffeine or the like, I am still sleepy. I tried jogging and then walking...it made me awake for just a half an hour and then I feel dozing off after an hour in my computer. Is this due to age or just because I had had colds or flu? But my medicines for golds & flu were all non-drowse. It was really unusual because I have not experience it before for the last 44 years. What do you usually do when you are sleepy all the time?

I have the same problem. I always feel sleepy, even at work! I don't usually drink coffee, but I drink a lot of diet cokes. If I don't get my first diet coke before 10am, I would be dozing off at noon. If only I don't have a lot of these noon meetings at work, it would be fine, but I do. I chew gum to get me through these meetings.

Yap, chewing gum helps and I usually excuse myself for a few minutes just to jog or run in place for a minute or two. Thanks for your response. Happy mylotting and God bless!
