Lately, I was exposed on so many intrigues in the office. Many are saying bad things about other and it is totally saddened me as some of the friendship that they long established is slowly eaten up by anger and frustation brought about by their differences. What I observe is that they do not want to share their job knowledge to somebody. It make them feel indespensable to the company. But for me, you have to share for you to grow or else you'll be stuck on where you are right not. How about you? Would you like to share your knowledge or just keep it to yourself?

I'm sure you are right. People who easily share their knowledge with other people are people who grow in their knowledge and most likely be well-liked in the community he is in. Selfishness has always negative effects, those who are selfish have a very limited circle of friends because it is by sharing that the relationship grows and trust is developed.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I also think that they are selfish because they are insecure on where they are right now. People who got confidence in themselves are not afraid to share what they know. I jsut pity those people who are unable to reach out and will stay where they are.

I am a teacher, I share my knowledge with others. Even if I am not, I love to help if I can. It's not that I am being nice but I see that as learning and improving my own skills. We thought we know almost everything about certain thing but once you share it with others, you'll find out there still much more to learn. Keeping to yourself won't help anything or yourself.

I absolute agree with you. Keeping things to yourself will lead you to nowhere. No matter how knowledgeable we are, there are things that we learn on day to day basis no matter how trivial it is. At least from this we know that we are growing as a person. I resent those who are selfish and was not able to help out, content on their own world.

It actually depend on each persons personality, when two strong personallity clash this sure end up to be one real big fight. we can't help it if some people are actually having this selfish characteristic. some do think they do it to safe guard themselves.
