Smokers that drive I need your help.

i used to smoke and the main reasons i tossed the butt was= it stunk the car out, its hard to keep the ashtray clean without actually removing it and washing it, you dont want smoke billowing for a while potentially burning other butts and smouldering away while your driving and dont want to avert your attention to put it out properly, and finally--- the others got it in one, LAZY!!!!

Because it makes your car stink...lol..Nah but I dont think they have ashtrays, i know they dont have lighters they have to be ordered....

NO, new vehicles have neither ashtrays or lighters, but i bought a cup tray at way-mart for 2.oo. in certain parts of FLORIDA you get caught your either going to pay a hefty fine or possible go to jail, to many brush fires started by flicking butts out the windows along highways or wooded areas.

No they do not have ashtrays any more......so maybe that is why some people do it....I personally don't.....I don't leave trash anyplace...I have a smokeless ashtray I bought for my car and I prefer that as there isn't the smoking smell.

I've never owned a new car and probably never will so I don't know if they have ashtrays or not. i am a smoker tho and I never throw my butts out the window. It is a fire hazard at worst and littering at least. There is no excuse for throwing butts out the window. In most places it is a pretty big fine if you get caught doing it. If a car does not have an ashtray, there are always those ashtrays that are made just for cars. there is always another way.
