Not only can you find information on free websites that help you promote your articles, you can make money giving other people advice about your experiences with these ways. It's a neat thing, I first started out using it to promote my articles as well and some of them actually work. And for the ones that don't work, I just go back to the site and talk about what I thought about the product or service and I earned money for doing it, so it was a win win situation for me.
