Kill Hannah's cover of Billy Idol's Rebel Yell
Grant-Lee Phillips' cover of The Church's Under the Milky Way

I could probably come up with two or three more of these lists just between Kill Hannah and AFI alone but I'll stick with the parameters of the discussion
