Nowadays, as Internet is commonly used in almost every one, more and more people read news from the Internet, sites provide more information than newspaper, because the content of the newspaper is limited to the size of the paper.
Usually I read news from Internet too, but I recently thinking of subscribing newspaper, so that when i read news I don't have to turn on the TV or computer.
Do you read newspaper too? or you just read from the Internet or know from TV?

are you sure college students don't have time to do that? if you think so now, you will find that you have no time to do anything after you enter into society, since the competition outside college is more fierce than in college, and you have to work harder...
believe me, relax yourself and enjoy your college life.

Some time ago my husband and I had an extra job where we delivered the newspapers at night, and each time we received a couple of free newspapers. I usually read the local newspaper each morning when we got back. I enjoyed reading the news while I had my coffee and my breakfast. We no longer deliver the newspapers, so if we want to read it, we have to buy it in the shop. It is quite expensive, so I usually prefer to read the free newspapers instead. We pick them up at the train station, they aren't as good as the "real" newspaper, but they are okay. I also like to read the news on the internet.

Well, nearby my house there is box where we can take a newspaper for free, then I take advantage of it. =) Si, literally I read newspaper every single day. But I also read news online. However, maybe because it has been established for a while that newspaper is 'normally' in paper form, so it is very easy to for me to find someone who's reading newspaper, every day.

Although I don't read the newspaper daily, I do read several magazines, mostly of a liberal persuasion. On a weekly basis I generally read "The New Yorker," "Time," and "The Nation." However, I do tune in to the news occasionally, and if I have the opportunity I read my university's student-run newspaper.

I use to read the newspaper everyday, but not anymore. These days I get all my news online which is very convenient. Unlike the internet, newspapers can sometimes have limited international news. I do read papers sometimes if I get time. Mostly I read it from my University Library when I am free or else at home. I also watch the news on TV, so I am sure I get almost all things that is happening around.

hello mac6999, thanks for sharing. yeah Internet has more news. to me newspaper is enough for me to know what's going on internationally, but I use internet too, because I like to see other's comment on the news, see whether their opinions is the same to mine or not, sometimes they may make prediction about what will happen in the future, and I like to read them...

..Hi iamfine, What a great choice for a name. I used to read the newspaper each and every day. In fact it was one of my favorite things to do on a daily basis. Then something happened, and I started to just let the papers pile up, because I lost interest in the news. After a while I canceled my subscription, and began to read the news online and watch tv news. So that is where I am today. I do miss reading the paper, but I don't think I will subscribe again anytime soon. Take it easy.

you listen to the TV when you are busy? why not listen to the radio, that would save you much electric. and does listenting to the TV affect your work negatively? if you work carefully, then you can not listen to the TV careful, when you listen carefuly, you may not able to put all your mind into work. Or you can do the 2 at the same time?

I read the newspaper every day or at least try to do it. I also read news from the web. When I read news from the newspaper usually are news regarding my country more than anything although there are news from other countries that I also read. And in the web I usually read more international stuff.

hello edxcast, thank you for sharing. yeah I think if you read local newspaper, then they would provide more local information than international information, I think if we want to know news internationally, it may be a good choice to choose international newspaper... hehe, just my opinion, of course we can save some money by reading it on Internet.

I don't read the newspaper everyday. But that is because it's not in our budget to buy it everyday. I'd like to subscribe to the newspaper. I'd only like to get it on the weekends so I could see what weekend activities their are and I could use coupons. Usually I will ready news online.

Hey iamfine! I am sorry to say that I no longer read the
newspapers! I get my news from the Internet most of the time!
And then in the evening I watch the TV to get the rest of
the news! I usually watch the local news in my area on tv
to see what is happening close to home! I honestly can't
remember when the last time I read a newspaper and I guess
that is really sad! I spend more time on the computer so
that is usually where I see the news of the day first!

Only on weekends, I like to sleep late, and after i brush my teech and cleaned my face, i would lay down again and read my newspaper...

I find it very boring to spend time reading the newspaper. So I just watch news on the tv, whatever is available or whatever is important. Sometimes I feel that I am out of touch with the world outside; but I really feel that I don't need to know everythig that is happening in the world around me. So I am doing fine without the newspaper.
