I can be optimistic about anything. Even when something seems totally hell, there is always a positive side to it. I just have to find out what that positive is. Not that it is a bad thing to be sad or upset or disappointed. Sometimes bad things happen, life happens, and I can't help the emotions I'm feeling. But I have to learn not to dwell on them. After all, the sun is always shining, even on the gloomy days. I just have to look past the clouds to see it.
