Do you talk on the phone while grocery shopping?

Hi. careguarden. No. Not unless my husband calls me to remind me to get him something from out of the grocery store. I also may call him to ask him if he needs something in particular out of the store or not too. If I talk on the telephone while grocery shopping then I may get mixed up or I will leave something out by accident.

No, I don't like talking on the phone in general, and especially not if I am doing something else. So I really try to avoid that if I can, just because I want to concentrate on what I am actually doing!

If I'm all by myself in the grocery store, I'm usually on my phone chatting to a friend. My list remains pretty well the same every time I go there, and just before I check out I'll say goodbye to the person I'm chatting with and then double check that I have everything anyway.

I can't talk on the phone while I'm grocery shopping. That's way too much multi tasking for me. lol If it's an important call that I need to take, I may pull the cart over and take the call quick and then get back to my shopping.

it really depends on why i am talking to him. if i am talking to him because of something that is really needed while shopping, then i will do it. for example, if a friend requested me to buy something and i felt there is a need to call because of say, a color, price, quality decision i have to make, then talking to him is necessary, so i talk to him while shopping.

I will answer it if it rings, then tell them I will call them back. I find it very distracting, especially if my children are with me.
