a while back i was on google searching for some work at home opp. when i came across a site that claims to pay you to write letters for them. they say that you will make money ($10) each time someone purchase your letter. i was thinking about joining but wanted to know if anyone ever worked for the site or has been paid by them. the site is letterrep. the letters they are looking for are love letters, cover letters, apology letters and things of that sort. what do you think about it? do it seem legit?

I've read about it. But it doesn't seem very profitable. If you like to write, why not join helium or associated content? Some people said those sites really did pay for articles.

Shontia and Charma, I do suggest doing Associated Content because you have a better chance to get paid than at Helium. One guy on here stated that at Helium, it took him about a whole year to reach $25 which you have to et in order to cashout of there. Associated content seem to pay better than at Helium even though at Helium, they do have that marketplace for writers. I do not know anyone at all that succeed with Helium. I think most people gravitate towards AC than Helium or maybe I'm wrong there. I have gotten paid twice since joining last year and I must say, the most I made at AC was $37 which was just for upfront payment. And that didn't include performance payment.

This site sounds interesting. I haven't heard of it but will check it out. Did you join? Am wondering why anyone would want to buy letters instead of writing them themselves. Please keep us informed if you do join and what your outcome is when and if you write letters for them.

I did look at the site and just am not sure it's something I would like to do. Without joining, not sure I saw all the details. What sounds fun would be to sell about 10 letters and earn $100. That could be nice! Good luck if you decide to join.

yes it is interesting, no i haven't joined yet. there was 1 user who responded, that said she was a member and that she have made money from it. i am still trying to decide if i want to join. i think it will be good money but if no one buys the letters then it would be time consuming. i was wondering the same thing but if they were to buy one of mine i won't complain. : ) thanks for responding and if i decide to give them a try i will let you know what happen

If this site is a genuine one, it should be paying you a letter they accept. It will be up to them to market the letters to client. To subject us to a wait and see poser is downright unfair. Who, knows they might be just using these letters unethically without paying us. Also watch out for sites that say, you cannot be paid until you reach a very high sum of money. This will allow them to scam you. USD 10 just like that which MyLot practices is a good practice. If you should find such a good and reliable site, do let me know.

do you have to pay and join? if so, then it's most probably a scam. and how can we be sure that some one somewhere will buy the letters written by us, that also for $10 bucks! come on, its the most ridiculous one, this one.

hello shontia08, never heard or came accross about that site yet. good thing you ask before doing or joining. maybe, some of our co-mylotters knew about that and that they can give you an idea about it. $10 is a big amount just to make a letter. that is indeed a big amount. be careful though. hope it is legit.

Its just like bukisa, even in bukisa you need to write articles, and for 1000 views you get 3 dollars.I am there till yet i havent completed even 10 views.Things like this unlimited gap has a lot of problems.I think you need to be a professional writer for that in order to get the letter aprroved

...Hi shontia08, I have written letters for letterrep, it is a legitimate site. I have had maybe three or four of my letters purchased. They do pay you the month after your letter has sold. A lot of people review your letters, without purchasing them. They only allow the purchaser to review a portion of the letter, but I get the feeling that they may take the portion they are shown and write their own without purchasing yours. Sorry to be so cynical, but thousands of people have reviewed my letters without buying, that's strange to me. Anyway they do pay you. They are going through changes on the site now, so you might want to wait until they settle down before you join. Good luck if you do join. I enjoy it. The operators of the site are responsive, they will answer your questions on a timely basis. Take care.

Well, i dont like the sentece "each time someone purchase your letter", I think you might end up wasting your time and some one still not buying it. Or worse, that the side actually sell it, but not letting you know, or they let you know the letter is actually bought, but they dont pay u. I think you shoould try other mean then this, it simply to risky and waste a lot of your time and enegry.
