I have been saved for 12 years. I am a busy mom with VERY few friends. Where are the Christian Sistas who want to connect, fellowship, reachout and minister to others? I find myself being a rare breed. Alot of women who i attend church with are not friends but rather just church acquaintances, Whys is that?

Hi Kia,
So sorry that many people have so little time to spend with friends these days. We all must make time to be with each other and encourage each other.
I am a follower of Jesus Christ and I love being around fellow believers! What a blessing it is to share God's awesome love!
Unfortunately, Christianity is being "bashed" by society more and more these days. People are becoming lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God. The Bible said this would happen in the last days. But we are to be strong in the Lord, knowing that He is still in control and is always with us!
God bless!

I am willing to network just hit me on my page or website linked to my page. I am a Christian sista and I totally understand but you really have to choose your friends wisely Kia some people have malicious intentions and as a Christian sister you are going to be constantly attacked by the devil that's his job. If he isn't bothering us we are not living a Christ like life. Keep your faith and love everyone as God loves us but pray, pray, pray for him to send good christian frinds into your life.

Well my sister, not all are to be your friend, but rather your acquaintances. As you should know, as I know you very well, people are brought to you for a reason, some are meant to be close. I take it for what it's worth and let it be. I remain, humble and cordial. I don't question.

well yeah we know season, reason or lifetime, but i guess sometimes I see more of us as trygin to keep up in church for the wrong reasons. I think alot of my discussion are grounds for a lot of heat, debate and are mostly brushed under the rug
i question if i am to be in a smaller church but then i have been and didnt enjoy but loved teh type of fellowship.

hi Kia I take it Sistas means sisters in English? well first'how do you treat other women who are also Christians, do you preach to them , I know I am a Christian but someone constantly preaching at me bugs me to tears.I have a minster in mychurch I don't need ones as friends, when I make friends I want to be able totalk with them not be preached at. I get my religion in church.Try to soft pedal the preAching bit and just act like a woman who wants to make friends.

Preacing to them? Nah, not me at all. I am ususally the ones my friends want to come to but as I said before, its like no one has time for anyone else. Get to church, get the word, and leave. I was raised in a church where we didnt have cliques, we sat around after church, ate, laughed, and maybe met up once in teh week for dinner....not these days.

Why aren't you more than just a church-acquaintance?
