United States Falling Apart???

Do you think the United States is falling apart compared to five years ago? To me it seems that were sinking every year into a bigger hole. Why are we so trustful in criminals and let them get away with murder? We're not even allowed to torture terrorists anymore because some one will get mad. For what reason, why can't we torture poeple who are trying to kill and destroy us and what we stand for? Are you as sick of this as I am??
