Its friday, and its raining out and its chilly ... a perfect day to stay home!! I have no running around to do this afternoon besides getting my son from school and I am going to make a soup for dinner tonight.
I am in my sweats, my daughter is sleeping and I have the control over the tv... and I am getting in my mylot time...wow, its a pretty darn good day!!!
Do you love days like this this... I do since usually my days consist of running to grocery/retail stores.. getting this for school or that for dinner, or dropping this off at an aunts house or picking up something from my moms...
Do you get to stay home today?? What are you getting done today??

hello bookreadermom08,
such indeed is a good feeling. i feel the same when it is my rest day for i don't have to worry of being late going to work for that matter. aside from doing some household chores, i can seat infront of the tv and watch movie or a show. can even work online longer. and most of all since i am not incharge fetching the kids in school, i can make a nap. it's simply the best. oh, i love having my restday.

it was nice having that time to just do what I wanted since I had most of the house chores done... and I only had to go out and get my son and I threw together an easy dinner, that was nice... and since then I was super busy yesterday and late getting one of my other money sites caught up.
I love getting in my computer time!!
thanks for the response and have a great day!!

I also love to spend time at home. I work part-time and always glad to be home from work and not having to run the errands such as shopping etc. I really love when I have all my chores done at home so I can be on the computer trying to earn or just playing games or checking email. I use my spare time also to work on my jewelry, really need much more for the upcoming holiday season. I love the lazy rainy or snowy days also for just curling up with a good movie and hot cocoa!

For me, a day at home usually means it is the weekend.
That is, without dispute, the best time of the week. Not that I don't appreciate having a job, but I just really enjoy being able to stay home.
i get to make up the schedule ofr the day, what to do (or not), what to eat (or not), etc etc etc :)
It's a feeling of freedom that I feel/sense - I may get a lot of things done. ALternatively, I may get nothing done, and stay lazy. But the fact of the matter is - it's my time, and the sense of freedom is amazing. Also, I guess I enjoy it more when I know it's not for too long ;)
Have a good "day at home"!

Oh last night i sleeped late and there will be class for tomoorow but i had a vibe that the class will be posponed because of the storm we are experiencing. I was so lucky that my vibe came true. So yeah, i supposed to have class today, but it was cancelled. Now i have time for others work to accomplish, and im almost done. Its about answering my laboratory books which answers is through research, i got head ache so i rest.
But i don't like to be home, it makes me weak. Bore all the time.

I am a full time mom, so my days at home are without running around, or having a million things to do is very rare... I dont have time to get bored with 2 kids, a house that always has to be cleaned/or a project is always in progress here... and I am very active with my family (aunts, mom) --so I definitely will take a day at home with nothing to do when I can get it!!
glad you were able to get other things done when you didnt have class... thanks for the response and have a great day!!

TGIF!I'm happy when it's Friday coz the next day Saturday I have no work in the Office so I stayed at home the whole day doing all the household chores; e.g. cooking breakfast, washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen, sweeping the floor, mop floor tiles, washing the clothes, etc. At the end of the day, at 8p.m.,I rest, watch TV and then go to bed at 10 p.m.
When my husband and myself were active in the community prayer at 8 p.m. we usually go out and join the Novena of our Lady of Fatima. We join community sharing, reading Bible phrases and contribute oneself experiences based on the Bible readings.

oh when I worked I always enjoyed fridays.... the weekends were mine!! for a little time only though...because I worked a full office job, and 2 part time jobs before I had kids...so I never really had just a day at home...so I really enjoy them now when I get them!!
thanks for the response and have a great day!!

I like them too, although it doesn't always mean I am cleaning. I sometimes just relax or I might get in the mood to give the house a good cleaning. I love to have lots of computer time.

I know its hard to have time for cleaning, computer time, and spending with the kids... but when you get a day at home, and you just make it work it is wonderful!!
with my now working online a bit (my money sites) and I really spent a couple weeks just spending and hour or two just cleaning out things --so it is easier to keep up on the house now... although I have more to go!! but I eventually plan to have a schedule in sync!
thanks for the response and have a great day!!

hi bookreadermom08 well as I am in this retirement center and today is friday, I get to mylot all morning but there is a mental fitness class at one thirty so I don't want to miss that. we have a wonderful instructor and she works to help those among us who have had strokes to regain a lot of their mental abilities. I and other who are sound of mind just go to keep our minds keen and our wits sharpened. an older person can keep from getting senile by using his or her God given brains , use it or lose it, like any other part of our body, so we do exercises and games to keep us thinking and alert. it is a lot of fun actually. I find that I am much smarter than I thought and get so embarrassed as all the others keep saying look at Patsie she always knows all the answers. well shucks I do have a good IQ.

well those days are very rare for me! it seldom happens!.. i am a very busy working mom.. and my work demands so much time from me. i get to spend like so, so many hours outside the house! as a mom, its my longing to just stay home, relax, watch dvds, read, just a stress-free stay-at-home-session!. i would super love that idea. but sad to say, this seldom happens. as i have to attend to demands from work. :(

Hi bookreadermom. I love to be home on stormy winter days. There is something comforting sitting all toasty warm inside, watching the snow swirl around outside. If I had my wish, I would never have to venture off to work or run errands. I would love to just putter around my house and play on the computer.
