I have always wanted to have a baby girl. Unfortunately I am not yet blessed with one. If ever I am given a chance I would name her Scarlet Reese. Or Midouri Sayuki. How about you? What would you name your baby girl?

Hi Hwoaragpoy, If I had a daughter I would name her Ezra (though I think it is a guy's name!). I saw the name while I was travelling through a church yard once, and I fell in love with it. I had planned to name a future daughter Ezra for a while before I watched a drama and there was a man in it with that name! I have seen another since then, so I think my daughter would end up with a guy's name, but frankly I haven't come across a real life person with the name so I don't imaginine anyone would know (and by the time I had children this would have been forgotten so no worries here lol). I love unusual names though so even if she wasn't named Ezra it would be something equally exotic (but hopefully feminine lol). All the best, Dranz

Ezra such a unique name for a girl. It is quite biblical in form. Who knows she might obtain the characteristic as well. As they say, a name can dictate a baby's future.

Wow, I never knew Ezra was a name from the bible. Is it a good name for a person, like what did Ezra do, and if the name dictated a person, what could I expect if I named a child this? I have never read the bible, but I am definitely curious now.

I have one but I won't say it... My wife would be pissed if someone stole it (no offence)... You know what I mean about women and naming kids... Here's mine though... I gave my nieces their names. Rheighonan Melody and Darriane Harmony, I'm a musician and they turned out to be pretty good in Piano though...

What is in a name? It gives as the confidence to pursue our destiny. Naming babies is a ritual indeed. It is sacred. So I understand what your wife wants to convey. Such uniqueness. Well whatever you name the baby I am pretty sure she will be a great inspiration for your musical career. Best wishes. God bless.

Would have named her Gabriela. I don´t have daughters either they are all Boys althought in this Family all the rest have Girls and more Girls I´m the only one with Boys. Gabriela is name I have always liked or if not I would have called her Ruth or Rowena but Gabriela is my first choice as a baby girls name. What about you?

Gabriela is a nice name. It refers to archangel Gabriel which is the messenger of God. I have a friend who named her baby girl Gabriella and she is such an angel. She nicknamed her Gabby.

I personally enjoy the name Ambrosia quite a bit. Now I'm not planning on having children for another 8-10 years XD but if it was a baby girl that is what I would look into or a similar variation. I love Italian names truly. My family comes from Italy and so not only do I speak Italian, I know many people with Italian names and they're just splendid!

If I were to have that privilege again to name a daughter, I would name her Elizabeth Ann, there is no reason it's just the name that came into my head when I read your discussion.

Good old fashion names. Not something she has to be in college to be able to spell. I also looked closely at what the initials spell out. (I had girls). I also try to look at what's popular and stay away from those names. Nothing like going to school and have 6 Janes in the class. When they got older they appreciated the attention to those details. Jade & Chloe were two favorites I never got to use.

I would probably name her Julia. I like that name. I am actully thinking of rare names such as Destiny. I like it.
