How to choose an appropriate Nintendo DS for my 9 year old -girl.

I am thinking of getting my 9 year old daughter a NDs for her upcoming birthday and I am not sure how to get the best productfor her. I see there is a Hannah Montanna PSP out recently but I was informed by my 8 year old that the two are not the same. Which is better the PSP or the Nintendo DS. The prices are a kind of high for both products with the NDs being more expensive but again which product will offer more variety and be most enjoyed?

I know the mario series is quite expensie but the are always great picks for the girls especially and the graphics and games are great and g rated. I also like DS pets and think the hannah montanna would probably be a great pick to start with she will always need more.

The nintendo Ds is definately a better choice for a nine year old. If your planning on getting her a DSi then i would advise against it because the extra features will most likely not be used by her. The Ds lite is less expensive than the DSi. I hope this helped.
