Me and this girl went out when we were in highschool, and I guess since we were so young we did stupid things and ended up breaking up, but stayed friends. But here we are, 5 years later, and we're both different people now... I just don't know how to tell her... or even how she'll react. I don't want to ruin things.

Hi freezeover,
Hmmmm, how do you think she feels about you?
Is it possible she feels the same way but doesn't know how to tell you either? Or, does she act more like a sister, just good buddies, or pals?
It's really hard to say and I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction at all. As you said, you don't want to ruin things, and neither do I, lol!
Do you guys date? or have you dated over the last five years?

No.. we just dated 5 years ago. I doubt she feels the same way as me though.

And why do you doubt it? Come on, spit it out. You're not telling us the whole story here. How often do you see her?

I just doubt it because it seems like she has a new boyfriend ever week, and none of them are anything like me. She's told me before what kind of guy she likes, and I'm just not like that.

I guess you are both matured now in a way that you both can understand what has been going on between you and her. Just tell her directly but do not expect. Who knows, maybe she is falling for you too.The most important thing is your friendship. She may not like you as her boyfriend again, then accept it. But I guess, she can fall for you too. Just be honest and sincere with her.

everything is like a gamble when you make a decision. and only two things happen, its either you get what you want, or fail. you will not know if you dont try, right?
