I am 20 and am trying to keep myself healthy, to prevent health issues when I'm older. Does anyone know of an inexpensive brand of health insurance for someone who doesn't need it often, but would like everything to be covered?

Herein lies the problem...which is why the government healtcare issue is such a big one...there is no inexpensive health insurance that is beneficial to anyone other than the insurance company. Sure, you can find something that doesn't cost much each month...but your deductable will be high...your copay will be high and they won't cover much. That's the insurance industry's rap. You can get decent coverage through an employer group plan but, if you're an individual, you're screwed.

Well that figures. I work on the internet only, so I guess I'm screwed.

You're not screwed forever. I don't know how, or when, this healthcare legislation is going to be resolved but eventually it will be and then it will be possible for you to have coverage that you can afford that will offer coverage that is beneficial to you. I have seen too many other folks in the same position you're in and it's time that something was done about it. This country is too great to let our citizens go without basic healthcare because it's too expensive.
