The Solar Eclipse Omen

Suppose somebody tells you that a Solar Eclipse is an omen of a coming disaster, would you believe him/her? Why?

Hi,friend,Not only Solar Eclipse Omen,but any Dam issues discussed by common man,i don't agree and even i don't give importance to hear.There is science and it tell all,even though,some times something happens without prior notice.For that also there will be reason and science will tell a bit later why it happened like that.All the best.

No, I wouldn't believer him/her.
Why?
Well, for one thing, science can tell us when and where the next eclipse will be. Now if it was an omen of disaster, wouldn't it be just a bit more unpredictable than that?
