Wierd Dream!!!

I have been having a reoccuring dream. I'm living on a city that's on the coast of an ocean,(and I don't actually live even somewhat close to an ocean) and the tides from the ocean get higher and higher,eventually flooding the land. It's very Frightening because I can never get away from the water, but I always wake up before it gets too high...could this mean anything????

Since it is recurring it probably does mean something. But it could mean a lot of things. Like if you are really worried about a lot of money (or life) stuff it may be your mind expressing the overwhelming feelings. That's probably what it is. Whatever you are really worried about you have the feeling that it's going to over take you and "bring you under." And in the dream just like what ever it is that's bothering you, it keeps coming and getting higher and higher until you are afraid you are going to get swept away.

i don't think the actual content has a special meaning. this looks to me like an anxiety dream and you are feeling overwhelmed by something. if this is true probably best to address whatever the problem is one step at a time rather than doing it all at once...
