Do the traffic exchange sites help us to get referrals?

I am the member of two traffic exchange sites and am active in both. I have lot of credits in both the sites.In the beginning I used to spend the credits for the promotion of my sites. But I found nothing as benefit by promoting in the traffic exchange sites.Though I got some referrals to my site, they are inactive only.Because of that I am not promoting my sites and have lot of credits without any use.We can just increase the visitor counts to our site.That's all. What do you feel in this? Are the TE's helping you to get referrals?Are there sites like PTC sites to earn few cents?

I have traffic exchange site also and i can say that it helps me get referrals. Because i saw in one of my earning site that i have numbers of referrals but the question is that is they really active or not. But i guess traffic exchange is a good way to get referrals and its good that it helps us also to have visitors especially in our sites or blog.

Yes it is good to get referrals, but it is also good to build your list, and keep in contact with them. That helps to keep them active. Also show them how to get traffic, because that is what every one is there for.

i also used some traffic exchanges in my site but i didn't get any referrals from them. my visitors to my page only increased but referrals? no, i didn't get any referrals from them but just page views only. :(

The better way to get the referrals with the help of traffic exchange sites is promoting our site once it is launched.Then only we can get referrals for our sites.If we make delay in promoting the sites, there will not be any use in that as most of the traffic exchange members will have registered with the site already.Also TE members are well versed with the other online earning sites also.Even if we get referrals after our initial promotion, we are not sure about their activity in our site. Most of them will become inactive soon .I don't know the reason for that.I have registered with some of the sites from the TEs.But I will be active till the site continue to pay the members.Else I will quit the site.Thanks for your response.

I use Traffic exchanges every day and I am making money with them!
The first trick is to use a splash page, because every one there is just surfing for credits to get their site seen also. Then try to sell them something they want, more traffic to their site. I am in a program that converts well for traffic exchanges because it was set up specifically for traffic exchanges. Add me as a friend and I'll show you how you to can make money with them!

yeah,i joined some traffic exchange sites to get referrals for my other site,although it helps sometimes,most of my referral i got from the TE's are not active at all.i have to say it is really difficult to get some active now because of so many scams.so,i do my favourite sites myself instead of wasting the time to promoting.

At first I was active only in easyhits4u only.After that I registered with many sites.But most of the sites are not sending the visitors to our site and they are scamming and wasting our credits.In our account, only the credits are being reduced as per our allocation. But they are not showing our pages to the other members.Only easyhits4u is showing the pages to the members.If they are not able to show our pages, they are not reducing our credits as the other sites are doing.Also I got so many referrals from this TE only.But unfortunately, most of the are inactive and some are just registering with our site and do nothing.Thanks for your response to this discussion.
