Do you believe that 2012 is the end of the universe?

We heard of different rumors or perpectives about the upcoming year 2012. The 20212 Documentary that explains the prophecies of Nostradamus, which perhaps real and true. The end-time books and end-time prophets that testify the signs that the end is fast coming. Some people do believe that the end is near particularly with those people who are experiencing the wrath of the climate such as floods, earthquakes and the like. Well for me as long you are spiritually ready and have a strong faith then you won't be bothered if the end is near or not...

Hi mchavez, 20 years ago, could u have predicted the gulf war? Or in the beginning of 2009 - the present tsunami - or the Earthquake in Samoa? We are not equipped to identify things that are likely to happen with our own planet, and we are trying to predict what will happen in the universe?? Does it make sense? Its like failing to run home budget, but trying to manage a multinational's budget. LOL. Nostradamus's predictions and the Mayan calender may have pointed in a direction, and we are all focusing on that, so we are only looking at the negatives of that year or that date. It doesnt mean that there were no other dates that didnt portend worse fate for this planet, or that our scientists have accurately predicted the axis turn. My logics tell me that gravitational force is not a linear force, therefore, if such a thing did exist, by this time, the effect of it would be felt in the farthest planets of our solar system, or at least on their moons. Their moons could have been dragged out of the system and the sun could have come closer to mercury, and venus. But nothing like that has happened so far. Since passage to these planets is in terms of earth years, and they are quite far in terms of years, and they have not shown anything based on their proximity or distance so far, I dont c how we on earth will be singled out for such treatment in solar system. And as somebody else pointed out. If destruction were to occur, we might have a heavenly body just ramming into us, the way it did to jupiter a few months ago. Of course we would be aware of the possibilities then. There is difference between predicting the trajectory of a visible body like that, and predicting the effect of an invisible force that would tilt the earth's axis.

you are right, if we have a strong faith then we will not interfere with the final day. many people who are not well aware, will the signs that the Lord has given. earthquakes, floods and other disasters is a warning from God. that we all believe in God more. we must continue to recognize the sin we have done. all good hopefully we'll get.

No. Penn and teller actually did an episode on this for their show B*llshit. This myth had no basis in reality even it's purported to be in the Mayan calendar. So don't go running up your charge cards or any other ridiculous behavior. The world will still be here in 2013.

Hello mchavez, No one can really know when the world will end or will it really end. No one except God. what important is that we will be prepared Spiritually. We should live life to the fullest. Let our love one feel that we really love them. We can also forgive people who have hurt us. Because we will never know when the end is near, at least we would be ready and there will be no regrets in the end. Have fun!

Nostadamus, if you had watched previous documentaries, had also predicted that the end of the world would be in 1997. But that didn't really happen. So I don't think it is the end of the world. But, many of the things he predicted did end up happening. Kinda spooky!

Personaly probly not. If you are bibical person it says in the bible no one will know when the end comes. In other text it even says that. I think notrudam, The atecs and the rest figure when a cosmic even would happen that would be once in a life time.

I had personally posted this topic a few weeks ago and also responded to similar topic and my answer still remains the same. Nothing is going to end on 2012. If the earth or the Universe has to end then it can end as we speak/read or its not going to end in our lifetime at least. Predictions like these come and go but nothing change.

I don't think 2012 is really the end of the world.I believe no one has really predicted,or will ever accurately predict, the end of the world. Also,I believe that God loves us so much that He will not destroy us.He loves His children, that's why not matter how bad the situation gets,we can still get over it.He helps us out of our troubles.

The only thing that I believe is that part about the mini ice age that will happen due to the sunspot activity. That in itself will be enough to kill many people. Of course there have been more earth quakes lately as well as the swine flu going around. So we do have to wonder as to what is coming and how bad it will be. But truthfully if the grids go out for 5 years like they say they will, and we have extreme cold temps. then that will be enough for many people to realize that human life is not prepared for what is coming all of the time. My advice would be put some extra blankets, and clothes away just in case, along with some extra food.

God only know when the universe will end. All are false statements. Don't belive in it.

No. Who says so? Only God knows what will happen. People are so pessimistic nowadays.

No it's not the end of the universe the universe cannot end. There is likely a possibility that the Earth will change it's position or it's tilting motion due to the upcoming galactic alignment which will resume on December 21, 2012 it's not about disasters that will happened but there will be major changes on our planet. If you talked about disasters like earthquakes, flooding and a sudden change of earth's temperature. That's why we are experiencing a very hot climate. Scientists explained that Global Warming is the reason. I don't believed in Science anymore because they kept on hiding the truth so that people will not get into panicked. So how can we prepare for such major disaster if we are not told accurately.

I guess we have a few years to wait and see. However, there have been countless prophecies about the world ending and none of them have come true. But who knows, maybe it'll come true this time. Or maybe they'll just push it back a few years saying it was a mistake and it'll really happen in 2020. We'll see.

I do not think so . no one can predict the future. no offence but I heard that its written in the bible that the world would end by 2000, nothing happened. i believev all those books are made for just selling to people who are scared about the end of the world.

Maybe that is too extreme by 2012? I personally don't think so because 2012 is only two years away and it is not that cumulative by then. Yes, sea levels could rise and may cause drastic effects but saying the end is 2012 is too extreme.
