I would never eat any part of a frog. I think it is gross. Eating something that reminds me of a reptile makes my stomache cring. I have seen other people eat frog legs. Frog legs are just not my type of food. I concider frogs wild and feel they are not suppose to be eaten. I know people eat deer, duck and that sort of thing. I would never eat those types of things. I feel bad enough about eating a cow or a chicken. I have a really hard time with that. Sometimes I think about becomming a vegetarian.

Talking about frog legs reminds me of a funny incident that I encountered before. Some of my family members have no issues when eating frog legs, but I on the other hand would feel so gross. So, when my mom brought some food home she had ordered from a restaurant, I did not know there was a frog legs cooked in soy sauce. I thought it was beef or something. So, I just took all the dishes and when I was about to eat, I saw a couple of frog legs in my plate! I was so surprised and I did not think twice. I quickly threw them away outside the window. So, my answer would be NO and NEVER.

What a waste, you just threw away a couple of delicious items out of the windows. I won't never do that, when it comes to food, not many of us have great, warm, and delicious food on the table all the time, we should appreciate what we have for now.

Don't get me wrong. I would never like to waste any food, but I have mistakenly taken those tiny legs with tiny feet and no flesh, not the whole part. They were dipped in the sauce, so, I didn't see them at first. Since I felt gross, I just threw those legs outside and not the whole food on my plate.

hello tuckersheri, the same to you, I think I would like to become a vegetarian too, I got sick of having those with face.
the other day, i saw a news, it reports a company who get profit by selling pork, I saw the whole process they killed the pig, it makes me feel sick! and those poor animals was screaming under hurt and horror! My heart was about to break down by hearing their creaming.
I am an animal lover, I don't like to see any animal been killed.
So I think I would eat more vegetable and rice in the future, but I won't reject sea food...I like sea food, and I can't rejected them.

I have eaten chicken, deer meat and cow . I usually will eat the beef that comes from the cow. But, I will never eat frog legs, ever! This looks and I know that I could not pull myself to eat this. Frogs look very nasty to me and I just can't eat frog legs. Many people say that it taste really good. But, I know that this will be one taste that I don't want to be tasting!

If you are vegetarian, I would respect your situation, and I won't force you to eat anything other than veggie. But for us, great plates not always come around all the time, so we have to respect what we have on hand. Even frog legs is food, we should appreciate for what we have.

Well, I have absolutely no problem on eating frog legs or other animal internal organs. It just taste so good if you know the right way to cook them. An oriental recipe might be handy when it comes to those gross stuff you mentioned above. Why not? once in your lifetime, you should try it yourself instead of giving it up.

Yeah, I already eaten a frogs legs when i was still a little girl and I do not know it is a frog. it really tastes like chicken especially when it is fried in warm oil. it is very crunch and it taste no differences with chicken. It is soft, tender and have white meat. Then, it is best being cook like a stew frog, barbecued, roasted and even uses as the main meat in cooking the arroz caldo. It really taste good but I rarely eat it now days as I do not longer craves for it. Except, if my family do not tell me that it is frog I could eat it again. As their is really no difference with the chicken meat. They look and taste the same things. Those frogs that are being caught are frogs from farm land mostly eaten by farmers and even got amazed that the frogs legs is even available in the frozen meat section of the mall. The frogs meat is good to eat and I could not blame other people to eat frogs meat as they are safer and the answer to hungry stomach.

I have never eaten froglegs. I have never even thought about eating them. It just doesn't sound like something I would enjoy. I have heard other people say that they are good to eat. They are supposed to be quite a delicacy. Those of you who like them, enjoy!

Well, we occasionally have frog legs for lunch and I would say I love it. I don't mean to go against you or anything but sometimes I just love eating exotic foods. It just makes me feel good that I try new things once in a while. In your case, I think you should really become a vegetarian if you feel that way. We all have our own preferences with things like this. Take care! :)

Great question, the last time I ate frog legs was when my brothers, sisters and myself went to Point Pelee National Park, in Windsor, Canada. We had a great time there so we got hungry after touring the park. Then we saw this restaurant just outside the park. I remember the restaurant is named Laura, but I couldn't believe that they served frog legs here, maybe the frogs were caught from swamps of the park. Not sure, but likely, as the frog legs were so fresh. They taste like a fried fish as in fried Tilapia but there's a little chicken taste to it as well.
When we lived in the Philippines, we always ate frog legs, and they were really crispy and yummy.

Yup! I love fried frog. They're really delicious with some lemon on.
I usually eat them in chinese restaurant. I love asian food. Especially soup.
Anyway, the first time I ate a frog...I was a little disgusted LOL

Oh yes, I have them every year at my family's summer get-together. We only have them in the summer [because Christmas just isn't a time for frog legs] when we have our get-togethers in the park. My uncle will fry them up, along with some turtle meat. On top of that we have ribs, hot dogs, hamburgers, and that's just for meat! So yes, I have had frog legs. You know that saying that they taste like chicken? It's true.

Hi tuckersheri,
I like to eat frog legs.
ACtually frog legs are often to taste like chicken because of their mild flavour ,with a texture similar to chicken wings.
While cooking frog legs, only the upper joint of the hind leg is served, which has a single bone similar to the upper joint of a chicken/turkey wing. They are commenly prepared by frying or deep-frying.
In chinese cuisine, frog legs are usually stir-fried and mixed with light spices, stewed, herbal soup or made into congee.
In my place here, frog legs is an expensive food and hardly can get a big frog legs here.

Never. I would never like to eat them. But it is known that the Romans used to serve them to kings and queens. They are considered as delicacies.

Now for some truth in food. It probably most likely that you ate more then just a frog leg if you ever eaten pre cut vegatables ie canned or frozen. When i was working in a green bean factory i dont know how many frogs snakes turtles rats mice. that we found chopped up and put through the machines. though they get out 98% of the parts some do make it through final procesing yum yum

Frog legs make me sick. You know that the frogs eat flies, mosquitos, and some insects. When they digest and absorb what they've eaten. Maybe their legs need more engery that comes from flies and so on. Therefore I think if you make me eat frog legs. I prefer to eat my fingers. Oh! They are gross. I never think about eating them.
