I have been on tv twice. One time I was on a comercial sponsoring married with children. I loved it was so much fun to make a comercial. I would do it in a heart beat if I could do it again. The other time I was on tv was for my opinion on a school strike that was taken place at the local school I was going to. The media loves to get people and kids opinions on things. I love the camera. I love being on tv it is so great! I wish I could do it more often. I hope to maybe be in another comerical one day.

Well I also hope you will. It's nice to be famous. Hmmmm I've never been in a commercial or something like that but I've been on tv. There was this mall with cameras attached to a huge tv. I walked passed the camera and zoom! I'm on tv! lol.

I had been on TV a few times before and once on the big screen. I used to be a freelance talent in two of the biggest networks here in our country. It was my first part time job before going to college. It was just like yesterday but it's all over now because college kept me busy. That was the happiest job I've ever done. I enrolled in a technical school that focus on engineering and so I couldn't really continue instead I joined the theater club and was satisfied:)

I also have the same experience and I actually had it recorded but that was long time ago and I lost the VHS tape already. It was a thrilling experience. It was actually an interview by a leading newscaster about my work in the street children foundation. Minutes after the airing of the program, I got numerous phone calls, congratulating me as if there is something to congratulate about. LOL
cheers!

I appeared on a few children shows when I was in primary school. The local TV and radio stations used to go round the primary schools and pick out children to appear on such programs. I never thought it was a big deal until fairly recently some one told me she used to be really jealous of those kids that were chosen. Weird.

yes i experienced being on tv for an interview. i was the social worker then in the philippine refugee camp and assigned in the social rehabilitation center. i was interviewed about our program, services and activities for our refugee clients who are incarcerated for violating some camp laws.
it was fun. of course i felt nervous but been calm along the interview process. when i watched the interview, it amazed me, believe it or not i am telegenic...hehehehe!

In college I was on my college tv show called LifeForce or something like that. I actually forget the name. They needed a host and no one else wanted to do it so my friend begged me to it, so I did and it was a lot of fun. I am not a huge fan of being in front of the camera, but it was still fun.

I was on TV about 20 years ago. I had started a tent city protest for the homeless that snowballed into a big deal. When the police came to arrest everyone, I stepped forward with my hands out, volunteering to be arrested first. I ended up on CNN and other news shows as they followed my arrest, arraignment, and eventual release. Not a whole lot of fun but I'm not sorry I did it. I also learned that I look horrible in orange, and jumpsuits are not flattering!

I got onto tv in a funny way. Have you ever been out somewhere, and a news crew shows up. I find this has happened a few dozens times to me. The first time, I was visiting New York City. I deceided to stand outside of the CNN news window and wave frantickly until the camera man swung the thing around at me. Then, I took a quick walk the street to find where the Today show is filmed. You know the one with the screaming crowd that gets interviewed, and a demonstration is shown?
A few years later getting out to community events I noticed the cameras show u to get back shoots while an anchor person talks. So commonly this occured a few times. Once, while at a National Crime Night Out in Las Vegas, I was interviewed on why I choose to come to the event.. SO, yeah.. I am a backdrop person, too. I have also been in few movies as an extra. The kind where you get a few secounds behind the main character of the story.. Not paid, just for fun.. An agency in town here hires peole for just this. While I have never done it a few friends of mine told me it is valid and they paid a few hundread dollars to stand still for a few hours..

Inadvertently, yes. Sometimes when I go for a social event, I was accidentally caught in the background. Nothing to be proud of. So, it will come out in the newspapers and my friends will be calling me and emailing me.No joy either so have to answer to your friends on why you were at such a function.

happy to hear about that. i was on tv but it was not for a happy event. i was interviewed by reporters because of the accident which killed my husband. that was 5 years ago. unlike u, i didn't "love" the camera at that particular time. i would love to be in a commercial like u did though.

I have been on TV several times which is why i have not added a pic of myself on here. though im not going to say why i was on their either. I will say though sometimes it sucks to be in front of the camera though it is a blast to be behind one.

I was in a commercial for the company that I used to work for. It was only about a one minute commercial, I guess, but it took about 7 hours to make. I had fun making it, and got to be in it with other people that I worked with and some friends and family.
They played it over and over and in different areas in our state. They also changed it around a couple of times using different scenes so that it would look like a different commercial. I guess it aired for about 2 years or more altogether with the changes that they done to it. I had people telling me that I looked familiar all of the time. And when I seen someone that I hadn't seen in a while, they would say something about seeing the commercial.
It was a lot of fun, and I felt a little bit famous. I too would do it again in a heart beat. I also recorded and wrote radio commercials for our company. After I left, people would ask me if I was getting residuals since I didn't work for them anymore. LOL

I have been on TV once when I and some friends went to a taping of The Price is Right. Funny thing is, one of my friends got selected to be a contestant. So when he was being shown thinking about his bid, he kept on looking at our group and the cameras showed us coaching our friend :p
That friend is now a TV commercial model because, in fairness, he is good looking. I, on the other hand, is very camera shy and prefer to just have my name appear as bylines in the articles I write for several print publications here in my country :)

When I was young(maybe 6) I was on a TV show for kids once. We basically sat and watched cartoons and did a dance. It was a one day thing, pretty fun if I can remember right, and I was very excited to be on TV, even if only for a minute.
