H1N1 shots might need serious consideration

I stopped by my friend Diane's job to say hello and she wasn't there. I found out she was suffering terribly, from the side-effects of the swine flu shots. She didn't get one, but her parents took her kid sister (in her 20s) to get them. Both parents spent several days in intensive care as a result, and her sister died on Thursday. Doctors verified that it was the result of the H1N1 vaccine.
I've seen several news reports that say there are no negative side effects to these shots, but I'd say death is a very negative side effect!
Many people have died as a result of the swine flu, so it's really quite a dilemma. I'm one of those people who are supposed to need the shots because I have several chronic health conditions, including a lung that was badly burned by radiation treatments after breast cancer surgery. There is no way I will have that shot, though!
I can't imagine the horrors of Diane's grieving. Her sister and her eldest daughter were only about a year apart, and roomed together at college. They were very close. She'll have to help her parents recuperate, with grief added to their severe illnesses, caused by the very shots that killed their youngest daughter.
Please think about it very carefully before you decide whether or not to get a swine flu shot!

I plan on getting the flu shot but no way in hell will I get the H1N1 flue shot until I see how it affects people and now, after seeing this, I PROMISE you that I will NOT be getting it!! NO WAY IN HELL!! Something about it made me want to wait and I'm so glad I did because it seemed to have come out way to quickly for my comfort! Thank you so much for passing this on!!

Exactly, Cobra Teacher, H1N1 is no more dangerous than the other flus and the hype is not justified in the USA. In countries where the food, water, and health care are all poor, then many more people die. Seems to me that inproving their food, water, and health care should be more of a priority than pushing shots that haven't been well tested.

Names? Dates? Any news stories about these particular caes?Im quite serious, I would like to repost this in another forum, one where this is type of thing is being heavily exposed, but I need a lot more specifics before I can. you can send me the info in private if you wish.
My condolences to your friend on her loss.

A friend of mine keeps saying not to get it because she's heard of people becoming paralyzed, permanently from it. So you can die if you get the disease or die if you get the shot. Up here, people who get H1N1 are quaranteened. Even people with regular flu are quarantened until they find out if it is H1N1. So unless I go to a foreign country or meet someone who has been from one, not real likely to get it. Almost everyone who came back from the Mission of Hope in Nigaragua (sp?) last year got sick, was quarintined, and not one of them had H1N1. The news people report what they're told. Makes you wonder about their sources for health care, doesn't it? Definitely double check anything you hear on the news.

My Doctor isn't getting the shot. People are getting quarantined and no more people are dying of that than of anything else. Maybe the Doctors aren't being told and only the ones that have been affected, like the Emergency Room ones know. Maybe they think one in many million or even a billion get paralyzed or killed. It's not until they see a pattern that they get concerned. Some Doctors on some sites are starting to speak out against it. One of the sites my friend sent me to had information about if it becomes manditory, how to object and resist it. I deleted it with last week's email, but some are starting to realize the danger.

I have a friend who sent me information for a week solid, she's out there fighting and her goal is not to stop until everybody knows. You're not alone. There are websites out there going full-tilt to try to get people to not get the shot because of paralysis. I just forwarded your discussion to her and many others. My email will be really jumping for a week. I think people need to get the facts and call their news stations. They're being fed info from the manufacturers of the stuff or from the World Health Organization or from whoever.

Why aren't doctors letting the risks be known?

There's still a huge debate about whether certain shots have caused autism, as well as MS. I do think we're over-doing the immunization thing!

I can't beleive a shot can make those effects. If this is the case why did the scientist leave it to the public without the proper proves this won't cause these collateral effects.

the swine flu shot is full of dangerous ingredients including thermosal/mercury. If you want to find out more about the vaccine visit mercola dot com. Everyone in my family got the swine flu but I didn't.. The only difference is that I take fish oil supplements and greapefruit seed extract pills w/crushed raw garlic cloves when I feel an illness coming on.
First my 4 yr old got it , than my 2 yr old. than my husband..3 weeks later my 7 yr old got it from school.. As soon as I feel a runny nose or sickness coming on, I take a GSE pill and eat raw garlic cloves and it usually kills whatever germs are in my body before it turns into something worse.

Thank you for some excellent advice! It's a shame that these warnings have not been widely publicized, keeping the public, for the most part, ignorant!

I'm not in a category that will be getting the vaccine, but if it was offered, I think that I'd refuse. I'd sooner take my chances with the swine flu. I've noticed also that there has been no news coverage whatsoever of any problems with the vaccine. None that I have seen anyway.

That's making this doubly horrible! The media keep telling us this thing is safe. Maybe this wouldn't have happened if the truth were well known.

This does not surprise me at all. All vaccines are dangerous and have potentially dangerous side effects but doctors and health care workers do not tell us about this. I refuse to get this vaccine when it becomes available.

reading this makes me furious. they rush to get these things out to the public without really knowing if they are safe or not. you won't see me getting a flu shot ever nor my child. i already was against this vaccine before i read this post and now it just drives it all home for me. my sincere sympathy for the loss of your friend's sister.

This is absolutely terrible, and I'm SO sorry for your friend's dreadful loss. I won't even have the usual flu vaccines - I find it easier to put a lot of garlic in my cooking over winter, which seems to help, as I used to get up to eight colds/flus each season. This new vaccine seemed to come on the market very rapidly - obviously without sufficient testing. Very frightening, and again, I'm so sorry this has happened.

Thank you. This is certainly a fast-spreading disease, but rushing a vaccine to the market is obviously not the best way to handle it!

Hey Jo,
This is very scary!! This is the first time I have heard of any bad much less severe reactions. I think I too will pass on the swine flu shot. The regular flu shot has never made me sick and I will be getting that one but not the swine flu. I just hope you can avoid any kids that might have the swine flu. Stay well my friend and thaks so much for the warning.
Love Ya
Leenie

That's one of the reasons I posted this. Every news report I've seen has said there have been no negative effects, but it's obviously not true! I, too, have an appointment for the regular flu shot, but I won't risk the H1N1.
XOXO,
Joanne

Hey Joanne~ I am so terribly sorry to hear about your friend's
sister. That is so horrible. I had already made my decision
NOT to get the H1N1 flu shot no matter what my doctor said! I
also have a weakened immune system due to chronic bronchitis
and every year I usually get brochitis, the flu and almost
end up with pneumonia. And every year I refuse the flu shot
anyway! I had already heard enough about the H1N1 vaccines to
make me sure that I wouldn't get one even if it was available
and my doctor insisted! This is just another reason! How awful
for a young girl to die from the vaccine! Why??? They just don't
know enough about the side effects of this vaccine to be pushing
on the public! I will take my chances on getting the virus!
I just can't imagine how awful it will be for these parents to
have lost their daughter to this vaccine and to have gotten
sick themselves! I don't know what else to say~

Thank you, sweetie. It's a horror, indeed.
I do get a flu shot every year, because the flu has led to pneumonia very often. I won't have this new one, though, no matter what the pulmonologist thinks of it. I haven't even asked him about it.

I too have heard some horror stories about the flu shot.
My doctor gave me a choice after explaining the pros and cons.
I oped out. I don't mingle with a lot of people and when I'm out
I usually avoid being around people who look sick. I'm happy that
most places I go offer sanitary wipes to clean the handles on the
carts. Every shot and medication has some kind of bad side effect
so I try to avoid both as much as I can. I think the media is using
a scare tactic to get more people to take the shot. I'm glad I had a choice
after reading that we were going to be forced to take the shot.

I had already decided to wait unitl I heard how the shot effected everyone else before I took one, but now, I don't think that I will take one for the H1N1.. I have never taken a flu shot and I was almost 100% positive that I wouldn't take this one either but the more that I hear, the more that I am sure about my decision not to take one.. It is a sorry choice to make, either dying from the flu or the shot for the flu.. I will have to be extra careful and pray a lot, because it is a scary situation for everyone.. I will say a prayer for your friend and wish you luck should you decide to take one and more luck if you decide not to..

This is so sad! That's why I'm a little bit concerned about taking the swine flu shot or the H1N1 vaccination, myself. I've just heard so many bad things about it. I plan to get the regular flu shot sometime this month and I'm going to ask my doctor if she thinks it would be wise for me to take it. I don't have any bad health problems except some hay fever like allergies, mvp, etc. Still, I want to be on the safe side. Please know that I will be remembering this family in my prayers. Kathy.

I heard that on the recommendations of some doctors (not well known), Indian Government has delayed the import of vaccine and it was harshly commented by one and all in our area. Now I can say that it was a brave decision by the government and we have to take more such calculated steps instead of hurried ones.

Apparently the Indian government is being more straightforward with the citizens than our is in America! People need information to make a sound judgment, and we're not getting it.

I'm sorry about your friend and her family. That is a terrible loss. I don't believe in those flu vaccines, especialy the swine flu one. Our bodies know how to build up immunities to sicknesses naturaly, when you get a vaccination you don't let your body do what it needs to do(build up your immunity to the virus). I don't understand why someone would go and get that shot. My 4 year old daugter's doctor even advised me not to get it. If a doctor is saying no to it then what does that tell you. Whoever developed the swine flu vaccine just wants to get money and thats all they care about in my opinion.
