Can you wait for your friend over an hour if he suppose to meet you in a certain place for an appointment? Or would you rather call him to cancel it, and reschedule another time? Do you have patience to wait for a slow connection in your internet, where the download of a single mp3 files take longer than half hour? Can you wait for your girlfriend over an hour to dress herself up before the party started? All these might happen once in your life, do you have patience for all these occasions?

normally i would consider an hour too much for me to wait for someone.i am a quick tempered person, mostly.
however, there are exceptions .it depends on the one i am waiting for .i would decide if he or she is worth it .if that person is important enough or interesting enough .i guess i'll sacrifice a little .
besides ,life is full of compromises, isn;t it?

That is a difficult one as I don't have much either. It seems to increase when I am in stressful situations which at the moment seems to be every day. One thing I an suggests is taking personal time out to relax and switch off, doing this will help you to control your thoughts and emotions. Yoga is also good for relaxation and gaining control. Try a local class and see how you get on.

I have a great patience. I can wait for a friend for over an hour for anything but when he comes I would definitely make him pay for making me wait for so long. I do wait for my girlfriend to get dressed up and I have to say that girls take a lot of time to get dressed. I also wait a long time when I download something from the internet as my download speed is 5-10 kbps on average.

An hour late is still tolerable to me as long as i am doing something or reading while waiting. If it is a classmate or friend, i am patience enough to wait even more than 1 hour but not 2 hours, it is already too much.
I do admit that i am also a late comer but it did not happen yet that i was late for two hours.
If it happens every time there is an agreement to see and meet each other i maybe accustomed to it and i will be starting to come late of 30 minutes in the agreed time.

I am a quick-tempered person. And I have been for quite a long time, not to say for as long as I can remember. So, I think that I would lose patience waiting for a friend for that long. I'd still wait for my friend and such. But I'd be quite a bit impatient about the situation and having to wait an hour for my friend.

Hi there friend..
It depends on the intersts of business. I will wait until my friend show up.
But not more than one hour, unless she /he is calling to ask more times.
Hm..for waiting our partner, i have patience to wait if he keep the time he asked, but still not for over an hour. You know what, waiting for someone is a very tedious for me. So better do not make an appoinment if can not keep the time.
Happy mylotting..:)

I am a quick-tempered, every time I meet the task, I would like to finish as soon as I can so that the stone burden can lay down in my heart.
Per the appointment or dating, I absolutely can not wait such an hour long. If a boy dates me with an hour late without an early call, surely I will not go out with him any more. he did not respect at least.
I really did not stand a girl keeping their boyfriends wait outside for an hour long, why did not dress herself up in advance or prepare enough time to make up. I just think the girl is affected to do that.( hope that it did not offend someone.

You surely not offended me. Because I absolutely agree with you. It just a common sense to understand. I couldn't stand to wait for someone's that long, while your opposite party couldn't stand the same deal either. So, I just don't have that kind of patience.

I like to think that I am patient, but I also demand respect. I wouldn't wait for an hour simply because my time is as important as my friends. Surely, any real friend would appreciate that and feel the same way in reverse.

I can say I have wonderful experience related to patience. As I used to teach classes to the student, I must be patient to clear their doubts. And I did that, but some time I get frustration with my internet connectivity while circumstances are not good with that. But in seconds of time I will be back to normal.
Patience does matters with our needs. It doesnt matter with relationship in real life. We should integrated this characteristic with our real life partners. This will creates most of the problems in real life. We shouldnt be patient some times at our work places when we are at management.. to get the things at right time.
These are I have learned from my experience.

I usually don't like to wait for a friend if we have decided to meet but for slow connections you can't really do anything.

a, I think I have no patience to wait an hour, it is too long for me,if my friend can not arrived in time,he/she should call me.Wasting people' time is a crime.Only 24 hours a day, not 25,so we must treasure every mimute.A waste of time is a waste of life.how do you think,my lotter?do you agree with me?

Your question has many different types of patience in it. waiting for some one that is late, i will give them 20 minutes if they haven't called by then i am gone.
slow internet i am there, if the file is too big i will wait and have a friend with cable download it for me, but if it is on a site i like to visit i will just wait.
I have had a few times in my life where my ex and I had invited my father and his wife over for dinner and they were 3 hours late with no explanation. We just stopped inviting them.
I am a on time guy in fact i am usually 5 minutes early for everything, so i don't wait too long for people that are late runners, like my brother used to be, since he got married to a very dominating woman his schedule is right on.

Oh there's nothing wrong to wait. but you should think of to whom are you going to give your patience. I hate late comers, cus im one of those. But im now trying my best to change because i know now how to feel to wait in an hours. Waiting is actually a waste of time. People should know how to value time.

I hate waiting for anyone,It feels so bad when you are waiting for someone and everyone eager in the place to know who the person is whom I want to meet.So I try going late and let the other person wait for me and if I be the first to reach then I at once make a call and ask her, how much more time will she take to come.

I am also not very high on patience. Well I am not too quick tempered either. If I must wait, whether it is for a friend or at the doctor's, in the airport or anywhere what i do is, I carry enough reading material. It would rather last me a month of reading even if it were only a few hours of waiting that I have got to so. With this I manage my "patience".

Hello clorissa, well at some point of time i tend to miss my patience otherwise i can say that i have a great amount of tolerating and holding down my patience.I can take someones sh-it.
But ithink no one has a long lasting patience to tolerate anything at any time.It really takes a lot of stable mind to sit a log in patience i think.

well I usually bring something with me anywhere I go such as a book, my Nintendo DS, my sketch book and a pencil ... I'd hardly get bored If I had to wait and yes I can do that for a friend, although my patience usually leaves me after some time. I haven't a good temper :|

Patience or not ,we should treat them seperately for different things. If some people didn't come up in the certain time at the cetain place without a call or explaination,i'll be very angry. It's impolite. But if i know the reason why they be late ,i'll have patience to wait for while you can do something else you like .
