Then I guess u have been to Lan Kwai Fong than!it's in Central.if not,u should go there and have fun.A lot of white and chic chinese ppl there.

And yes, indeed, I found it very expensive too. Of course my expenses were paid by my company, coz if not I would never afford to travel there by myself. It is also a very loooong trip, and, thought the plane was perfect and big, if you hate traveling by plane as I do, it is too tiring

I guess u should come,it's really nice here,and u should visit a place called Mong Kok,u can buy almost anything there.

Hi,If u are looking for places to have fun,I would suggest u to go to lan kwai fong(central)Always take the subways(MTR),There's like a white community there.a lot of white ppl and chic chinese ppl would go there for fun.If u are looking for places to shop or eat authentic chinese cuisine,then go to Temple street at Yai Ma tai,but u might think the place is horrible,because most ppl eat in the street.also u can get lots of cheap,chinese stuff that u could never get elsewhere.But always BARGAIN with those street hustlers,cuz they are sly and they will tell u the price is $100usd but only cost $45,if u know what I mean,if they say no,just pretend u would walk away,and they'd probably give u a good deal. P.S.Don't forget to go to The Big Buddha,Victoria Peak,Ocean Park(amusement park/zoo.),have a ride on the Star Ferry,Must go to Stanley,the beach and the place is so nice if u wanna relax. Well,I don't know anything about the hotels,but u could always stay in YMCA.

Thank you for the tips. I’ll keep this in mind when I return to HK. I know what you mean with bargaining and I learned this the hard way. I bought a bag only to find out another stall is offering it for less. I felt bad but there’s nothing I can do about it anyway. Next time, I know the trick. What Chinese food do you suggest I try? Please state Chinese name and what it is. I am adventurous with food as I like to try out new tastes.
