Blogging 101...What,where,how and HELP??????

I have an idea of what a blog is. I think? I have noticed that myLot is now offering a blogging section. I dont really understand the whole concept. I thought a blog is like a summary of any topic you choose to write on. Now I see that it can be so much more. I decided it was time to call in the troops. My fellow Mylotters... Can you guys show me an example of your bloggings? Tell me what it is myLot is looking for. I miss so much because I am afraid to ask for help. I am trying to turn over a new leaf and begin to ask for help. So here it goes. Can you please explain blogging to me guys? Am I on the right track? Where do you go to do it? I noticed that mylot asked for your blog URL. Where would I find it. I AM SO CONFUSED!!!!!!

No expert but most blogs have a main topic - then posts perferabley daily are made to the blog on or related to that topic. I have a couple blogs, one is on my profile I've had for several years but just this last week started a new one. As for mylot blogs I haven't gotten involved with that and really can't give any advice or tips on it.

a blog is basically a diary o your life or your views and facts on your chosen niche or topic. Its a great thin to do, and as someone already mentioned start with a blogspot blog or a wordpress blog, easy to use. My blog is www.the-tech-stop.blogspot.com, youu could leave a comment on one of my posts saying what you think and any more questions id be willing to help
