i dislike guys wearing earrings. it gives them an impression that they are immature and lazy people.

Your impression is too bad then. I know and i saw a lot of men wear earings, but you cant judge them just beacuse they wear anything you dislike. Lets give respect to them to their style, we don't even care right? But judging a person you dont know yet, is something i care about.

I know it is wrong to judge but i personally dont like it if a guy wears earrings. Wearing earrings is a minus factor when applying for a job in business and medical practice. If he is in IT or artistry, no problem with that. I have artist friends who wear earrings. They may not be immature or lazy, but they sure are weird. Like you said, it is his style and he should not judged for his exterior looks. I really find it inappropriate really. Furthermore, would you be able to present a lover (who has earrings) to your parents and proudly say, "mom, dad. this is the guy whom i intend to spend my whole life with." I come from a conservative family and if i do that, my parents' eyes will definitely pop out. I am sure your parents would have a lot to say. And just as well, if you really love the guy, you will blatantly disregard their sermons. To hell with what you say, you are just judging him because of his earrings.
The discussion asked if it is appropriate, i just gave my opinion. I dislike it really when men wear earrings and i would reiterate again that i really do find it immature and lazy.

yeah why not i do wear ear rings. i did have both ears peirce two times. i do wear two ear ringes. one in each ear

I think it's appropriate that boys wear earrings depend on the condition. some minority nationality requires the boys wear earrings. so it's ok to wear earrings. Because it stands for the symbol of the minority nationality. But if the boys don't belongs to the minority nationality, I think it's not appropriate, because it will look strange to look a boy wear earrings when work etc.

Well about your question, I dont like boys who are wearing any kind of earings. Actually my boyfriend has, but i dont want to force him to get rid of it. I asked him why he wants to wear earings, and he just said because of equality of both gender. Hmmm and i dont argue with him. It just earing then.
Oh i want to pierce my lips. Beautiful! =)

I think boys can wear earrings if they want to. I don't find it particularly attractive or unattractive and it's up to the guys. Some people think that only gangster guys, gay guys or fashion guys wear earrings but if any boy is comfortable enough to wear earrings and don't mind being labeled, they should wear it by all means.

I don't thing that it's a problem for a guy to wear earrings. It's just a style, image. It's another way to be different a little bit. And I don't see anything bad in this. Earrings are nothing more different than sunglasses or necklace, ring . . . Just accessories :) My grandparents even told me that men are the fist to wear earrings.

you know what...it's a trend in our culture for boys to wear earrings! it's still a trend and they do wear. but as they grow up they generally take them out, out of embarrassment! some continue wearing even after they are fully grown up! i used to wear during my childhood. i took them out when i was around 9(much earlier than most do) just before going to a boarding school. i still have the holes in my ear and they are still through and through! yeah they do get clogged if i don't check them out for a long time!

Some people dislike boys to wear earrings because it looks weird if a boy wears earrings.But i don't oppose.If you really like to wear earrings,just do it regardless of the views from other.Furthermore,our traditional attitude will change in the future and the trends of boy wearing earrings will continue.

Actually I don't like men/boys wearing earings. It looks dirty for me, and they look like a trying hard rockstar. When i was young i was scared with men with earings lolz.
But nowadys, i saw lots of men had it, so i get used seeing it. But it still turned- off for me.

It dose not bother me one bitif boyd wear errings it is something that makes them who they are. If girls can wear errings why cant boys. I think it is totally up to them.
