Is myLot worth your time?

Spain
October 4, 2009 8:36am CST
I've read a lot of blogs saying they have earned from myLot by creating and joing in discussions. I would like to get some tips from my fellow myLotters and share their personal experiences from using myLot. How much do you usually each month and is it worth your time? I'm beginning to enjoy myLot on a personal note because of the new people I meet here and from the things they share.

When I am at home I prefer to spend my time here rather than watching the soaps on television. When I am at work I come here in my spare moments rather than reading a book or doing something else. I have fun with friends here most days and rech double the minimum payout most months so I feel it is absolutely worth my time.

I have clocked up that number of posts in just over two and a half years on and off. Most days I can find lots of places to go and leave my mark and I honestly don't think about the number, it just sort of 'happened'

Hi,yes, mys,it's purely depend on how their time is distributed on different avocations and priority which they want to give. For me it is just time killing in night times as i am staying away to my family on job purpose. For that extent participating in mylot is quite worthy to me in having friends, fun worldwide.

It seems like you've been really spending a lot of time here at myLot. 10,600+ post at the moment. Wow! I really admire people who are diligent enough to keep their pace and do the things they love and at the same time enjoy what they are doing. I think so far, I am enjoying myLot replying on my discussion of interest and making more friends online! :)

Yes Shes right. If you think mylot is not worth your time, then you should stop making money. But who don't want to make extra money? We are paying our internet bills monthly, and you just want to waste your opportunity here. Its really enjoy here, you can learn many things. Ok happy mylotters!

Since most of the time, I'm here at the shop I try to make it more productive instead of playing online games. I enjoy it too aside from being able to practice my English. I find that this is a good exercise to hone my skills in English writing.

It worth your time. Just thinking about finding new perspective from other people, learns new thing that other people share and their thought. When first join in, i thought about the payment a lot,and try to increase the income. But after a few moments, it's just forgotten..LOL. I haven't been here for quite a while, because i lost my internet connection for a few month, so i really miss here. And now it's good to be back.. Many things are changes, but I still love in here.. Hope you will love it too..

..Hi NurseMathilda, I have been at Mylot a short time and I am enjoying it tremendously. I like to write and I like communicating with interesting people. There are quite a few of those here. The money is a bonus, which makes it all the more interesting as you can challenge yourself if you want to, and have fun that way. I have also found that it improves your writing skills. You want to be as explicit as possible, and so you check your grammar, to make sure what you are writing makes sense to the reader, at least I try to. So it is a fun site with a lot of opportunity. I hope you enjoy your stay, and have fun while you are here. Take care.

I would say that My Lot is worth my time. That is because I make friends from around the world, find the discussions interesting and earn money. The more time I spend on My Lot the more money I earn. The earnings are just a bonus for me. It took me two to three months to earn the minimum of ten dollars when I was new to My Lot. I earned about ten to fifteen dollars a month when I got experienced with My Lot. Now I have a young baby I spend less time that I used to on My Lot and so earn less. I still really think My lot is excellent and really enjoyable.

This is my 2nd day at myLot and so far, I think I am liking it - with the new friends I am making and with the experiences they share. I appreciate it more especially on your post and with others regarding the personal dilemma that I am going through right now. This is a great way to share information and earn money at the same time. :)

Hello NurseMathilda, You will be a mylot addict and then, if you are 'unfortunate', you will get the burn out too! I have been here for three years and I can say that mylot offers more than just earnings. It won't make you rich or if you work hard, maybe you can settle some of your bills monthly but honestly, the earnings are just like a bonus here. When I just started, I also looked for the opportunity to earn online as I thought it sounds very easy to earn. Unfortunately, things are not that easy though... I love mylot now because of the friendly environment (as I always mention when people ask me about mylot...) and the people that you get to know from here. I don't earn that much due to my busyness but still, whenever I get my payout, I feel very excited!

Thanks for taking time to respond to my discussion. Wow! 3 years is quite a long time already. I appreaciate the information you have given as it is very helpful and inspiring too. I have quite to feel that excitement when I get my first payout here at myLot.

My lot is definitely worth my time. If it's not reaching payout each month, it's just having fun and discussing new things. Or it's the friends made here. If your here for the money you've got to build yourself up, but don't forget to just have fun too! Of course guidelines, but I don't think you'll be breaking those... You seem so very nice.

I think that for most part, I'm sure everybody will agree that myLot is not just your income-generating affiliate. This is the 5th day here already and it has been truthfully regarding to me. I get to practice my English writing as well as building a network of new friends, which is now more important.

Hi Mathilda. I've earned well here, within the limits of being able to do so. Since it's against MyLot rules, I won't say how much it averages. But...beyond and above that, like you, I enjoy MyLot for the wonderful people I've met and for all that I have learned! So, I would do it, pay or no pay. Karen

Thanks for the inspiring message PeacefulWmn9. Now, it makes me wonder how much... Anyway, I was not quite aware about disclosing of the amount being earned here but now I am and never will I do it again. I agree with you, meeting a lot of nice people around here makes it worthwhile.

Hello nurse. That's funny cause i am also a nurse. Good luck on your IELTS exam and welcome here on mylot! Each month i have earned just enough for reaching the minimum payment. which is 10 dollars. Sometimes i make as much as $12.99. And that is the most i have earned. Now i have pending payments on my paypal account and most of my earnings there came from mylot. Yes it is worth it. It always was. Since you get to talk with different kinds of people here and learn from them. And just like what you said, earning friends is really fun.

Tips? There are so many tips i can give you. So far, i have reached my minimum payout twice in a row already. And since i am not that active nowadays, I just try to visit my account so that i can still cope up with friends every once in a while. Here goes my tips: 1. Stay active. In this way, your earnings will get updated everyday. 2. Try to answer more than three sentences per comment or response. Be expressive. 3. Give comments to all the responses you have earned in your discussions. 4. Try to give out responses that will really help the author of the discussion. If you are lucky, they might give you the "best response" mark, which was proven by boogerman as an added earning. 5. Make use of the mylot codes or add some images that is related to your discussion. 6. Make friends and a lot of them. In this way, your reputation will just go up without you noticing it. Reputation is acquired when you achieve your 100th post. 7. Barging in to discussions. This is also effective. Or try to make long conversations with other members here. 8. Try doing some sharonbucks tasks. Some members does not like doing this task but if at first you don't succeed, you can definitely try again! Just remember the compensation you can get when your work got accepted. It's very rewarding. Whew! I am almost through. Imay forgot about the others but i hope these in enough for you. Hope you liked it. We can really be good friends here.

Hello there too, nurse. I have been enjoying the comments and post here so far. I appreciate the opinions coming from our co-myLotters. And what I like best is the thought of communicating, really communicating with other myLotters and becoming their friends. And hopefully, me and you can become friends here too. Any tips you can give me on how I can reach that minimum payout at the end of the month?

hello Mathilda, I just want to say welcome to mylot. the first time i joined here was about a year ago and it was fascinating because you get to talk to a lot of people all accross the globe.this is a whole new meaning to social networking because this is much better than a forum site.i hope you do stick around for the next few days

I find it better too than those of the forums since you get to reply to the original post in case you got tired of browsing through the list of comments or replies. This is a good way to communicate to a lot of people too. I think I'll be using this more often than my other social network sites. :)

this site is a very well paying site. and although it might take a while sometimes, it is worth it when you get some extra change around. and by extra i mean 100's. i am not saying that this will happen over night but it could happen eventually. so do i think that mylot is worth the time and effort? YES!

Oh yes, myLot is definitely worth my time. OK, I don't earn fortunes but the quality of friends and discussions on here is worth every minute I spend here. The best way to earn a lot is to get lots of referrals, which is not so easy as so many people are sceptical, but once they get here and realize how enjoyable it can be, they usually stay. - Derek

Seems like you've been spending so much time here on myLot. 4789 responses will take me a over a year to do it! I'm thinking of working here fulltime. Just kidding. I'm enjoying my stay here so far. Not even because I am earning a little more each day but also with a lot of friends I make each day.

Yes mylot is worth my time.I come here to respond to interesting discussions. When i joined last year in February. Then i just used to post less and whatever cents were coming used to get accumulated in my account. Then when i reached dollar ten after three months,i got paid between the first to the fifteenth of the month.Since then i have been serious in mylot and i have got four payments from them.I do a transcription job from home and when there is no work over there, i am busy earning online. So there is no time being wasted.

If your here to make money your in the wrong spot. There are more ways to earn money online. Just use this site as your daily forum and when that day comes you'll get your first cashout on this site and praise yourself for staying on this for awhile.

I know that there's no easy money even here on myLot. Initially I must admit that it is all about making money online that I am here for but it seems like it's gonna take a lot of time before reaching out that minimum payout. I am enjoying this so far. I find it different with all other forums I joined since this is really interecative and the original post is always at the start of the initial discussion unlike with the other forums/messages boards that you have to scroll a lot and sometimes the discussion is already off-topic.

Yes it is worth my time, because if I hadn't found mylot, I wouldn't be doing other things to make money as well. I am happy about that as I was concerned thet when I first came in here I wouldn't be able to find anything else to make money. what a ma doing besides myly, isn't a lot of money, but it is something at least, and better than nothing. I am glad that I did find mylot and the other sites I am doing. I hope to find others that pay better, but for now, I will just sitck with what I am doing. I like it here, as it give me an opportunity to share my views with others, and see what others have said as well. I have also made lots of friends and I am thankful for every one of them. I am enjoying my time here as it is also fun, and that is the best part of it all. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
