Hi friends I want to cut some scenes from my favourite movies and videos. So I don't know which software to use. I know that moviemaker is great but I can't use it because all my files are .avi or .mkv. When I try to import them to movie maker it says that the required codecs are missing and at the same time if the codecs are there it is taking more time importing it. SO please help me with the best software I can use. At the same time I need an audio converter and a video converter also. Please tell me which application is best in these aspects. Please help me with these issues.

hello madugulagopi, i suggest you to use Sony Vegas studio for cutting videos and editing. You can find one and download at some torrent sites like utorrent. :D it is so easy to use and there are many features to it. in the audio converter? yes, total video converter is a good program to use :)
