I have a polaroid t831 and sadly, its not a very great camera. But I am in dire needs of camera and when I saw the price, I immediately bought it. For the price that I paid, I guess, I am very satisfied with it. Now my aim is to have a canon eos500 as i just recently found that taking photo is a very great hobby, so I want to dwell in it. Moreover I always sees a great scenery that I think it will be a waste if I don't put it into a picture.

I have an Olympus SP-320 that I've had for over 3 years now.
I guess it depends on how much you are willing to spend and what kind of features you want. There are so many different ones out there. You might want to compare a few and go from there.
Good luck and happy mylotting!

Well my GF is using a nikon p80. I like this camera because it is a higher quality almost professional camera, but can still be used as a point and shoot. She loves it. I bought it to replace her nikon coolpix.

The digital camera that I've had for the past two years is a Canon Digital Rebel. I love this camera because it is more of a professional grade and I am able to do a lot more with it. That said, this wouldn't be the camera that I would recommend for a person that is just going to be getting their first digital camera because of the fact that there is a large learning curve with it. For a first time digital camera owner, I would recommend a point and shoot digital camera. There are a lot of them on the market, so I can't say a specific model to get, just make sure that you get one that is at least 8.0 megapixels.

I have a sony cyber shot DSC-S700 model. Its not the best digital camera out there and is a pretty old model but its perfect for basic pictures when you go out with friends or have a family gathering. I wouldn't say its the best for professional pictures though but it has great settings to play with and mixed with photoshop cs3 or cs4 it makes a great camera.
