falling in love with a friend

have you ever experienced this? Or even the other way around? how did you ever handle it?
I had a friend before in highschool. He was one of my closest male-friends. And I never knew that he really likes me until I transferred residence to another province. We had communication through texting and even snail mails. It was then that he confessed to me his true feelings. Honestly, I was relieved that I transfered to another place so as to avoid facing him. It was kinda awkward.

i also felt that when i was in college i have this buddy mate in our medical school funny thing we been so close to each other that i also slept to him but nothings happen lol.just being friends we respect each other feeling.so i honestly tell him that i find him attractive lol,but i dont pursue it because might our friendship will broke so i just appreciate him so i dont push it through because i felt that he just want me just his friend not a lover.were still friends till now he is already married and same i am too.

ya it had happened once that i started developing some feelings towards my best friend.but the best thing i did was to give myself time.later i realised that he can be a good friend to me than anything else.so with time things resolved.infact now i feel that was the wisest decision i had taken .

yes , it is realy awkward. recently i have fallen in love with one of my dearest friends, we have friends since childhood and my love is three months old.. not a long time though but it is a bit awkward..... and this is a confusing situation for me what to do ?? risk my friendship or risk my love.............
