Yes, I am proud that I am an Indian. India is developing in a very fast rate and soon India will be one of the leading nations in the world. We really have to work hard to defeat China in this competition. I love India and one thing I have to request to Indians to make us achieven world no. 1 is to keep our country clean. We are far below in the scale in cleanliness of our country compared to other dveloped nations.

hi anurag,
I am Indian and i am proud to be Indian. Looking around our country if we leave China then we see lots and lots of poverty in Pakistan, Bangladesh or other countries . Our country and pakistan were made on same day and pakistan got all the water and fertile lands yet it is not something to be proud of and yet see the progress our country has made over the years and see where it has reaached and we are now compiting with the world not only in economics but also in sports . One third of scientists and doctors in west are from India. This speaks for the education and brain of Indians. Yes I am PROUD TO BE INDIAN.

yes i do proud to be an indian
but i also proud to be a human too.
i think today the world is more secure cause of the reason that most of the countries have the democracy. which is really a good system but we people are not able to respect those people who bring this in the reality and also the system.

I have a very close and sweet friend, who was from India. She use to show me photos of India, her family and friends. I felt very close to her family as if I knew them for a long time.
Her mom pass away a few years ago, and she have to go back to India.
If my business keep going good like it's been going, I may spent some time there.
I long to see the country, and meet some more of the beautiful people of India.

India is one of the emerging economic power. It has made great development in the the field of technology, software, computers etc. India is also among great military powers in the world. It has third largest army after USA. Even India is a nuclear power. According to Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam India will be a superpower till 2020.
The other side of the coin is also there, India has to work on poverty, uneducation, slums, its growing population.
I AM REALLY PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN.

Yeah! offcourse i'm proud to be an indian..there is no doubt it...
But sometimes by seeing the rules or constitution of our country..which really ruin my mood..and sometimes if i was born in other country that will be far better..because i didn't getting a govt. job..because of ridiculous system of our constitution..especially the reservation system..i'm belongs to general..caste..and this become hell for me...doesn't have any facility...very strong procedure to getting in the govt..job...i'm not that much intelligent...to get from the procedure which is set for ours caste...just disgusting....

I hope I will have a trip to india! I live in china now,and i am learning a kind of indian dance, which is quite fast and rhythmic!
But india also puzzled me!there are so many people suffering starvation, while lots of wealthy people there! after independence,India nearly have conflicts or wars with her neighbours!
whatever, now india is up-coming,i hope she can handle the promblem of the poor.
In my opinion, without religion belief, there might be some terrible social urests.
what i care more is culture and food, but i cant grab the core of its culture.
