How to promote my blog???

The best thing I have ever come across is Linkreferral.com. I have only used the free membership and have gotten a ton of traffic and followers from it. It takes some work on the site to get views, but well worth it in my opinion. BlogCatalog.com is pretty good, too. I also hit up forums that allow self promotion.

Have you tried pinggoat? craigslist? socialposter? usfreeads? signature file on other forums? There are many more but I can't think of them right now. Actually, I haven't tried some of these sites yet, but I've been reading about generating traffic from some of the ebooks I have on my computer. Some of the ideas above I will be thinking of implementing.
