Some may donate money to Non government organizations, some may serve poor people, drug addicted people, mentally and physically disabled people..I am realizing the farmers and people to grow plants more for avoiding air pollution and supporting biodiesel use to reduce Global warming.

I serve the mentally and developmentally handicapped individuals full-time in a group home environment as a direct care staff, I enjoy it and the individuals I serve are like second family to me. I think support for Special Olympics and the like are great, as these folks are capable of whatever they set their hearts on, who knows, maybe some are geniuses in disguise, even if they cannot speak or see, etc.

Well, here's what I am trying to do right now. I'm not doing something for my country in the traditional sense, but I hope it counts. I am a dentist and work in a college as a lecturer. I am trying to improve the sterilization standards in the dapartment I work.
Indian are legendary for their tolerance, not only of diversity(which is a good thing) but of wrong things going on around them(noe this is a bad thing). I have decided to be less tolerant .

I think that is all to donate and be involved...
However, my family lives on welfare at the moment..
So, how's that for I try not to be a troublemaker.. But the adverage tax payer now has an additional complaint to people of my situation?
I also, think that exercising our first Amendment Rights is a way to show respect to our forefathers. I like to visit libraries, I show kids that learning is important.. Hopefully, they never have to rely on welfare to feed them or buy them a bus pass?
Writing and communication is my field of study. I couldn't do that if the Department of education had not started so many decades ago..
I have held jobs, and lost them too... So, thanks to FDR.. and Bush...unemployment benefits can save a person of complete poverty.. for the income when another employer would not hire me.. That's right I take money from the government when I cannot give it.. I know they hire people to make statistics of their progress, so I am just one more number among millions trying to believe in my American dream..

I'm helping my country's economy by purchasing goods and products that are exclusively Filipino made. Patronizing our own services is one way of supporting our country. I also joined some Non Government Organization that gives value to our nature and I have been a member of a youth organization since high school.

my family had switch to buying organic based products. also to help my country, we try only to buy products that are locally made here. i also regularly made compost for my garden and often times try to reduce our electricity and water consumptions every month. i do have a records on our monthly bills. and when we break the lowest record of bills, i often treat my family for a lunch or dinner. its a way of encouraging all members to do there share.
